The SC Spy scans the waiver wire to find Draft players the best options available for a cheap pick up.
Draft BreakdownHey everyone,
Injuries galore again. Very sorry to Turbo owners and we hope to have for a quick recovery.
Outside of that it’s been madness once more. Brisbane have been struggling but do have a golden run of three matches ahead so there may be some value if you want to take a little punt on them.
Some guys I will have discussed before but may still be relevant, while others are new.
Some players I have previously discussed and wont mention again but this doesn’t mean they aren’t an option.
Hit me up on Twitter at @SCSpy1, or via the article or on Facebook at SCPlaybook if you have any specific queries.

This remains the same as last week. I like him as a target. If he keeps the fullback role I love him as an option.
He has a high workrate, offloads a little and is involved heavily in sweeping backline movements for potential try-assists.
Basically if the Dogs score he may well be involved.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
Absolutely battling SC wise but he simply can’t stay down forever and perhaps a new coach will help.
I’d love to be able to grab him at discount value and see if he can fire up again.
Ryan Papenhuyzen
I’ll leave him in. Finally he gets an easy match up and his value is at an all-time low.
Propose a trade if you don’t own a gun fullback already.
If you are off him forever that’s fine. I hope he can find some form again and even average 60PPG.
Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad
CNK sasn’t really produced yet, but his workrate remains enormous. His average should rise if you need a solid FB. A mid 50PPG average is possible.

Fanitesi Nui
Given Brisbane’s golden run coming up and the fact we know that they can play well there’s options here, but gee they have had a poor month.
I’d expect some sort of turnaround and with Nui named at fullback he could walk into some early points for owners.
Xavier Coates
The kid can play and with Brisbane’s run he could be hot for three weeks.
Herbie Farnsworth
I am a huge fan of the young guy. He has played very well amongst some poor team performances of late.
He did an outstanding job on Bradman Best last week and nearly skinned him for a try.
He may even goal-kick with Isaako out of the starting side. I prefer him at centre but with Brisbane’s three weeks ahead I may use him if I need a centre.

Sione Katoa
If he is still there get him now! He’s on the right edge outside Shaun Johnson who loves to link up with his wingers.
Matt Eisenhuth
He is a SC star when provided minutes. He scored 56 in base last week in his first game back for a while and that was in 60 minutes of action.
I will be getting him for my team if named to start to cover Fifita who I own, until he returns at least then reassess.
Tom Burgess
Churning out some very nice numbers and averaging 56PPG. Let’s see if he can keep it up.
Kurt Mann
Mentioned last week in this article and he delivered again. A nice option for your centres.
Josh Morris
May be available and the way the Chooks are playing he is a huge play. Especially against weaker opposition.
Lindsay Collins
Has been outstanding in recent weeks but missed last week’s clash. If named and you are thin in the front-row you could do far worse. He has nice base with attacking upside. Minutes are the potential issue.
Kodi Nikorima
Kicking goals and forging a decent combination with Eliesa Katoa on the left edge.
As a goal-kicker he is a better option then previously and covers halfback and five-eight. There’s a question mark on the Warriors but he’s worth a flyer.
