211th overall in 2019, H2H, Draft specialist
We take a look at the best options to grab from the wires, and look at players to target in a trade with rivals.
Draft BreakdownThe injury woes continue! It’s not great owning the injury affected players, but it does create some great opportunities for the waiver and trade targets.
Hudson Young (2RF)
Young has taken over the right edge for Canberra with Joey Tapine out with a knee injury.
Last week he scored 68 points and with Horsburgh likely now out for the season he could hold the edge spot until Bateman returns.
The three games he played 80 minutes on the edge last year he averaged 54PPG.

The ACL injury to Radley and short-term rib injury to Liu has created some minutes in the Roosters pack.
Butcher may start at lock and even if he doesn’t he is bound to get some increased game time.
He’s worth a pickup to see how they use him.
Herbie Farnsworth (CTW)
The Broncos are in some trouble but surely even they can put some points on the Warriors this week and Bulldogs next week.
He scored a try last week, but he has good base generally and is currently goal-kicking.
A good plug and play option for the next two weeks at least.
Mitch Barnett (2RF)
He has nearly overcome surgery and the word is he will walk straight back into the Newcastle side.
If someone has become impatient, grab him now before he is named in a few weeks.

Another good stash option for deeper leagues. He is back at training after a long-term back injury.
There is no word on when he will return but it looks like he is training at fullback.
Paul Momirovski (CTW)
He won’t be scoring 110 again this week against the Roosters, but he is a good pickup whilst Brenko Lee is injured.
He has good base and with Munster injured, Momo should see a decent amount of the ball via Hughes on the right edge.
Keegan Hipgrave (FRF/2RF)
Last week he played 80 minutes on the edge for 62 points.
He is handy dual player for deeper leagues. Watch out for Cartwright being named and stealing minutes in the future.

He scored 69 points last week against the Storm and it was his best score this year.
He looked really involved and if the numpties outside of him didn’t have butter on their fingers his score would have been over 100.
A new coach may suit him as he definitely looked more threatening last week and his SuperCoach numbers will only go up from his current 46PPG average.
Sio Siua Taukeiaho (FRF)
The season ending injury to Radley should benefit both SST and JWH at the Roosters.
They both have the ability to play big minutes, but SST has the best agility and passing skills of the two props and the Roosters may look to use him more as an attacking option.

A controversial inclusion here, but the last two weeks has seen Haas play 59 and 63 minutes for 54 and 65 points.
The low minutes may be a result of the scoreboard, but if he isn’t consistently going to be playing big minutes he isn’t that different to many of the other prop forward options.
You may be able to get some good trade value as he still deservedly holds that elite status.
I would be looking to use him to upgrade a weaker position in my side and plug his spot with a waiver-wire prop forward, which always has plenty of good options even in my 14 man league.
Sione Matautia (2RF/CTW)
Matautia has been a great option for your CTW, averaging 52PPG, mostly in base.
Barnett is reportedly due back soon and will likely take his role. Move him on if you can.
Kenny Bromwich (2RF)
The dizzying heights of the 64PPG season last year are a distant memory for Kenny owners.
Without Munster feeding him the ball in the short-term he will continue to produce mediocre scores.
