The teams have dropped for Round 12, with another round of extremely enticing match ups for key SuperCoach players.
The Cooma Stallions survived a few injury hits to score 1,221 last week, leading to a minimal drop to 73rd in the overall rankings.

Analysis: Another 123 point monster has lifted Zac Lomax’s season average to 70PPG. Owners would be absolutely thrilled, but at $640k there’s no way I’d be investing. The Dragons face the Rabbitohs, Roosters and Eels over the next three rounds.
Cam McInnes played the entire 80 and was back to his best with 83 points including 61 tackles. At under $600k he’s excellent value and is a perfect trade option for anyone selling Ryan Matterson.
He’s back to hooker for this week only with Ben Hunt moving to halfback due to Adam Clune’s head knock last week.

Analysis: South Sydney have a dream three weeks ahead with the Dragons, Broncos and Cowboys. Jaxson Paulo scored just 14 and has a breakeven of 1. That’s a lesson in why you should wait until a rookie’s third round and initial price rise before jumping on.
Despite Latrell Mitchell’s return, Paulo has held his spot and with the club’s draw he’s still an option. The fixtures make Cody Walker an enticing short-term POD play at just 4% ownership. He’s only been okay with a 55PPG average, but at $480k he’s a serious option with big upside.
Likewise, Latrell Mitchell is a huge short-term POD.
Cam Murray has averaged 67MPG over the past three weeks which is what we’ve all been waiting for. He scored 80 against the Raiders, all in base with 51 tackles and 15 runs. He’s been void of many attacking numbers this season, I think the next three weeks will be a big opportunity to fill the stats sheet.
Bailey Sironen played the entire 80 on the edge for just 43 points. Regardless, he’s a decent option at $285k with the run ahead, but with a breakeven of 23 it may be worth waiting a week to see his role is assured.
A shout out to Twitter user Saundo who pointed out Siro was going at 1PPM until Johnston went down injured and he was shifted to an edge for 60 minutes.
Damien Cook flopped with just 52 points. He could go very large in the next three rounds, but is he better than Grant and Smith? The way I see it it’s a bit of a luxury trade to be making if you have no other holes to plug.

Analysis: We’ve all been waiting on David Nofoaluma to drop below $600k, but he’s just playing too damn good. He’s affordable this week at $612k and with a season average of 78PPG he’s an extremely enticing prospect. I’m sick of watching on as a non-owner and will likely be jumping on this week.
Harry Grant has a season average of 77PPG and has scored under 67 just once. I’ll likely be holding and watching Cook very nervously. Luciano Leilua continued his good form with a try and is now $542k with a -11 breakeven.
If you wanted to buy, last week was the time. I’ll likely be upgrading him next week for a genuine gun as I don’t believe he’s a keeper, although he’s a decent 18th man to play based on match up.
Alex Twal returns and is one to watch for coming rounds pending minutes.

Analysis: Tohu Harris bounced back with 78 points largely all in base. This was promising to see with Jazz Tevaga back on deck at lock. Tevaga was solid but played just 50 minutes. He’s an absolute PPM beast, scoring 52 with 40 tackles.
He’s now $510k with a breakeven of 57 and is on my radar as soon as we see him play 65+ minutes, but not before. Eliesa Katoa returned to the starting side with a bang, scoring a try against the premiers for 86 points. He now has a breakeven of 20 and is an indefinite hold.
Ken Maumalo has returned to New Zealand making him an obvious sell.

Analysis: Kotoni Staggs kicked goals with Jamayne Isaako out of the side and is one to keep an eye on when he bottoms out. But you’d want to see Brisbane find a shred of form before buying as he may not get an opportunity to kick any goals.
TPJ scored just 38 points in 51 minutes. At $618k and a breakeven of 106 I’d be tempted to sell, but it’s a bit of a luxury trade if owners don’t have any other issues, he’s hardly a concern.
Xavier Coates has peaked at $336k and a breakeven of 85 and can be sold. He’ll be a SuperCoach gun in the future when playing in a decent team.

Analysis: Shaun Johnson is on a rampage with a five round average of 86PPG. With games against the Broncos and Titans in the next three weeks he’s a serious buy. He is looking in absolute elite form at the moment and his confidence is sky high, dangerous…
The Cronulla right wing is the best spot in the NRL to be at the moment as a result of SJ’s form. Sione Katoa is under $500k and is a serious option with the run ahead. He’s averaging 63PPG and is busting tackles like a man possessed.
Jesse Ramien has been named despite leaving the field early with a hamstring injury. Despite the golden run, he’s probably a sell with the obvious concern for that injury to flare up again.
Every time Toby Rudolf is ready to be sold off he delivers the goods. This week it was 65 points in 59 minutes. He now has a breakeven of 12 and can be held for another week or two before being upgraded or nuffed.
The basement priced Connor Tracey is well worth a look, but it can wait a week. He replaces Chad Townsend who is out for 4-6 weeks, but sits with a breakeven of 39 having played minimal minutes off the bench this season.
Condolensces to anyone who brought in Teig Wilton as a nuff, while fellow nuff Braydon Trindall is on the extended bench. Nuffin else to add here…

Analysis: The rain held off for what was meant to be a Roosters riot against the Warriors last week. It was anything but and it absolutely killed those who loaded up on Roosters players for the clash.
James Tedesco was stunningly held to just 53 points, but with such massive numbers captaining him it was largely irrelevant. You’d have to think they’ll be fired up for this game. If you try to get tricky and not captain Teddy based on last week’s flop you’re kidding yourself.
Kyle Flanagan and Luke Keary remain good POD options for the next fortnight, while Brett Morris finally hit the skids with 27 points.
Morris is out in a major blow to those who bought last week, while it’s amazing news for those who held Ryan Hall! If you can’t gauge the tone of that last line I’m one of those guys…
If I was tempted to buy I’d nearly just do it this week as he could hit his breakeven. Mitchell Aubusson played the entire 80 for 46 points.
At $250k and availability at CTW I think he remains a terrific buy this week, especially now non-owners have seen he’ll play an 80 minute role.
Some coaches are looking at selling Matt Ikuvalu due to his high breakeven, I think they’re crazy. He could easily ton up in this clash, breakevens aren’t everything! Bank those points…

Analysis: It was pleasing to see Jason Taumalolo back up to 72 minutes. He was big with 79 points, but could somebody please get the man an attacking stat!
The Hammer managed an okay 43 points. He’s now $312k with a breakeven of -4 and can likely be moved on next week barring a big score.
New owners would have been shattered to see Josh McGuire play just 56 minutes, however in that time he accrued a try-assist, 40 tackles and 16 runs, nice. The Moose now has a 5RA of 72PPG. Unfortunately he’ll miss this week due to suspension.

Analysis: John Bateman is one to watch and is a champion POD for the run home, but he’s not a buy for a couple of weeks at least. Josh Papalii again played an encouraging 59 minutes for 64 points. He was brilliant in actual NRL but didn’t go big in SuperCoach. He remains a tremendous buy in the FRF alongside Payne Haas.
Jordan Rapana is shockingly $258k!!! Oh how the mighty have fallen. At the price, I’d pay the extra $80k for him over a nuff and use him as a 5th/6th CTW option for friendly match ups or when injuries strike. But I wouldn’t be bringing in with an eye to scoring points as a regular in 17s.
He should play fullback for 2/3 weeks with CNK out injured.

Analysis: Addin Fonua-Blake returned in style with a solid 69 points, although it was in a concerning 51 minutes. I don’t expect these will be his regular minutes going forward. With a breakeven of 108 he’s a great buy but it can wait a week. Marty Taupau was solid again with 62 points in just 45 minutes. He’s likely a sell next week to a genuine gun, possibly even front-row partner AFB.

Analysis: Penrith were expected to annihilate the Titans in dry conditions but failed to do so. The Panthers have a very easy draw for the remainder of the season, so I like plenty of their attacking weapons as buys.
Nathan Cleary scored just 51 but remains a must-have for any non-owners. Stephen Crichton produced 63 which included a try and linebreak. He’s getting out of range at $575k but remains a serious buy for anyone interested.
Jarome Luai continues to get it done just as he’s ready to be sold. He scored 62 and is now at $466k with a breakeven of 43. I like the idea of moving him on to Cleay/SJ/Munster etc. this week.
JFH played just 54 minutes for 44 points. I’ve said all year his minutes fluctuate too much to warrant buying, and last weekend was a prime example. At $467k Josh Mansour is ripe for picking and won’t let you down.
Api Koroisau and Charlie Staines have both been named on the extended bench.
BULLDOGS v EELS
Sunday, 2pm, ANZ Stadium, Sydney

Analysis: Every time RFM looks like a sell he dishes out the goods. This week it was 106 points thanks to a try, linebreak, 37 tackles and 19 runs. I’m not convinced he’s a keeper, but there’s certainly no need to sell anytime soon.
Who ever said Aiden Tolman doesn’t have a decent ceiling? The great man scored 117 with a try, linebreak, linebreak assist, 44 tackles and 24 runs in 65 minutes, woah… I’m still not tempted though.
Jake Averillo scored 58 to avoid any price drops. He has a breakeven of 43 and can likely be sold this week or next having made a very handy $160k.

Analysis: Parramatta have a nice draw coming up with the Bulldogs, Sharks and Dragons in the next three weeks.
What do we do with Ryan Matterson? He’s been named, but with a breakeven of 127 and a history of concussions he’s a serious worry. If not for the history, the breakeven would be irrelevant, but he could go down at any minute as per last weekend.
I’ll decide later in the week, but he may well be a sell while the value is still there, I’m torn at this stage.
King Gutho scored 77, and while he has a breakeven of 107 it’s very achievable against the Dogs. Maika Sivo is very tempting having almost bottomed out at $540k.
I like the idea of buying and playing each week based on match ups, as he can go low with three scores under 30 this year. He can go 150+ on any given week and at low ownership that can be your ticket to huge surges up the leaderboard.
Mitch Moses scored 57 on return from injury and is an outrageous $407k. He’s another prime example of a guy you can pick and play purely on match ups.
In a 125 game NRL career RCG has never even registered in SuperCoach conversations. Now he boasts a 5RA of 84PPG.
In the last three weeks he’s played 68, 80 and 63 minutes. It’s likely these were injury affected, but regardless he’s proven to Brad Arthur he can excel with big game time. While I’m not going near him, at 8% ownership he’s a decent POD.

Analysis: Melbourne have a tough month ahead with games against the Knights, Dogs, Roosters and Eels. Ryan Papenhuyzen is finally doing what we knew he was capable of having scored three tons in the past five games.
However, the link between his scoring and Cam Munster’s absence is becoming clearer by the week. He recorded 91 points from attacking + evasive stats on Friday night. 56 of these points came in the 14 minutes Munster was off the field for a HIA (shout out to Worldwide Fantasy Club for the great spot).
With the tough draw ahead, and Papy’s ability to go fairly low this year, I’ll be avoiding at $588k. Cam Smith scored 110 to destroy Damien Cook in the week’s highly anticipated battle of the rakes.
Taking out his two recent games in the halves, Smith is averaging 89.4PPG this season, freak. Munster remains a must-have and he actually relishes the tough games.
Knights: 1. Kalyn Ponga 2. Enari Tuala 3. Tautau Moga 4. Bradman Best 5. Hymel Hunt 6. Kurt Mann 7. Mitchell Pearce 8. David Klemmer 9. Chris Randall 10. Jacob Saifiti 11. Lachlan Fitzgibbon 12. Aidan Guerra 13. Mitchell Barnett

Analysis: While scoring just 66 points, I was seriously impressed with Kalyn Ponga in very non-SuperCoach friendly conditions against the Dogs. He’s a good buy this week, but with a breakeven of 29 and the tough Storm match up I’d probably wait until next week to get in if I didn’t own.
Kurt Mann is a shoe in for the SuperCoach Coaches’ award at season’s end. It’s not often he goes large, but boy he just keeps getting it done for owners. He moved to hooker mid-game last week as injuries struck. He scored 92 points with 49 tackles and a very classy try-assist.
Having scored 80 on debut with a record amount of tackles for a first gamer, Chris Randall is somewhat of an option having been named to replace Andrew McCullough at hooker.
He’s basement price at $171,900, and if he goes big this week it’ll make the hooking ranks interesting next weeks.
Injuries meant David Klemmer played the full 80 minutes. Unsurprisingly he went mental with 102 in base, including 49 tackles, 19 runs (all bar one over 8m), and three offloads. Don’t get too excited as he’ll likely revert to his regular 50-55 minute role where he’s only a solid buy.
