With no bye-planning, and a stack of trades at our disposal, teams will take shape quicker than previous years.

To help you find an edge over rivals, 2019 SuperCoach champion Dez Creek identifies the low-ownership players to target.

Here’s who he’s found for Round 12.

1. Jordan Rapana ($258,600)

Once upon a time Rapana was a SuperCoach must-have in the CTW due to his incredible tackle busting ability, but seemingly this has dissipated with age.

However, the shift to fullback this week does once again generate some interest in Rapana given the fact that he is only owned by 0.6% of players and is definitely under-priced for what he can give you in return if he has a good outing.

2. Cade Cust ($447,100)

Cust is a serious POD option at 5/8 for those still willing to take a punt in the halves position.

He showed us last week that he’s capable of those 100+ scores which is vital to being a viable SuperCoach POD.

At 0.2% ownership you can rest assured that if he continues getting enough ball his running game matches that of the other elite halves and thus he could be the X-factor you need to rise up the ranks.

3. Latrell Mitchell ($457,800)

Latrell returns from suspension for indigenous round and you best believe he will be fired up for this Dragons clash.

9.6% of teams held onto him, probably most of them ghost teams – so I don’t expect many high up in the rankings to own him which makes him extremely viable given Souths’ fixtures over the next month.

With Damien Cook and Cam Murray seemingly back to steering the ship and Cody Walker doing his thing, Latrell will hopefully get enough ball with time and space giving him the capacity to go massive.

4. Connor Tracey ($171,900)

A great downgrade option in the halves given Chad Townsend is out for the next 4-6 weeks.

I expect most of the traffic to go SJ’s way in that period, however the Sharks have the Broncos this week and Tracey should still score fairly well if they put a number on them.

The best we could hope for is perhaps $200k in cash generation from him over the next month or two which could be crucial in constructing your final 17 for the end game.

5. Sitili Tupouniua ($315,100)

Owned by just 6.2%, we know this man can find the try line and we know he’s most likely set for 80 minutes for the next couple of weeks at least given the Roosters injury list including Angus Crichton and Boyd Cordner.

He could be a good short-term cash generation option for those who need it, whilst simultaneously being an extremely playable option given the Roosters soft draw over the next few rounds.
