Draft Breakdown: Round 20, waiver-wire, trade targets

For most of us this is the last round or second last before draft finals.

We have some decent options on the waiver this week and the two top priority waivers this week could be some of the best options we’ve had all year.

Below are the top priority and value waivers owned in over 65% of leagues.

TOP PRIORITY WAIVERS

Sean O’Sullivan

Jaromi Luai has suffered a knee injury and could be out for the rest of the regular season.

Meaning some lucky bugger in your comp could pick up a 62 PPG half in Season O’Sullivan

O’Sullivan also achieved his avg score without the stars of the Penrith side and he will now have a great arsenal at his disposal.

He will play second fiddle to Cleary; however, he is a running and supporting half for the best team in the comp and will be a great waiver in a tough HFB position.

Erin Clark

I never though Clark would be on this list and could genuinely be one the best waivers of the year.

In his two games playing in the lock role, he has scored 84 and 74 points.

He also looks amazing and despite their losses, the Titans look much better with him at lock and Booth at hooker.

My only worry is that Holbrook will continue to change the side and he may lose his role.

VALUE WAIVERS

Dale Finucane

Obviously, assuming he doesn’t get suspended tonight, Dale is a great waiver at 2RF.

Since returning from his head knock and knee injury he is playing good minutes and getting through a lot of work with a three-round average of 52 PPG in mostly base stats.

Egan Butcher

The younger Butcher brother has really impressed me this year.

He is a great play as long as SST and Collins are out of the Roosters team, as he is getting decent minutes.

He has a great work rate of about 45 PPG in base stats over the last three games.

He creates some genuine chances with his offloads in the middle and would of scored a his first SuperCoach tonne last week if Radley held onto his offload.

If he continues with his form, he could even be a good option once SST and Collins come back.

Morgan Harper

Harper is averaging 49 PPG for the year and has a three-round average of 58 PPG and five-round average of 54 PPG.

Manly have one of the better draws for draft finals and can show they can put lots of points on even without Turbo.

Sam Verrills

Outside Clark, Verrills is the best hooker available in 65% of leagues and continues to be on this list.

He has played 80 minutes the last two games, which will likely change given the Roosters will have Keary and Manu back or maybe it won’t…

He is so important to them and the way they want to play, which may push him into a regular 80-minute gig.

Aaron Schoupp

Schoupp has always shown his has the workrate to be a decent SuperCoach player, averaging 29 in base stats this year.

Unfortunately, he has been affected by the team he plays for and limited attacking opportunities.

The Bulldogs are showing they can now score points and Bulldogs have a few relatively easy matchups against the Knights, Cowboys and Warriors in the next three weeks.

Kelma Tuilagi

Has Tuilagi turned a corner?

I was so off him most of this year with his limited workload and unfortunate HIAs.

He looked great last week and maybe just maybe he could reach his potential he has shown.

I wouldn’t play him until he does this consistently but worth a spot on the bench.
