With Anzac day pushing everything back a day, we’re short on time for full analysis.
Let’s take a look at the Round 9 Supercoach teams, with squads provided by Fox Sports NRL.

Sharks: 1. William Kennedy 2. Sione Katoa 3. Jesse Ramien 4. Siosifa Talakai 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Matt Moylan 7. Nicho Hynes 8. Oregon Kaufusi 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Braden Hamlin-Uele 11. Briton Nikora 12. Teig Wilton 13. Cameron McInnes 14. Wade Graham 15. Jack Williams 16. Royce Hunt 17. Thomas Hazelton 18. Braydon Trindall 19. Connor Tracey 20. Jesse Colquhoun 21. Mawene Hiroti 22. Jayden Berrell
Analysis: No major changes to the Sharkies squad, Nicho Hynes looks an outstanding straight captaincy play on Thursday night with doubt over Nathan Cleary facing the Tigers due to a groin niggle.
Cleary is the best play, but if he is rested Nicho is the clear second pick, so it may pay off to go early. Cleary has been confirmed to not kick goals.

Jack Gosiewski 12. Jeremiah Nanai 13. Reuben Cotter 14. Tomas Chester 15. Jake Granville 16. Jamayne Taunoa-Brown 17. Mitchell Dunn 18. Riley Price 19. Ben Hampton 20. Brendan Elliot 21. Taniela Sadrugu 22. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki
Analysis: Jack Gosiewski has been named to start again after playing 80 last week. He looks an okay downgrade, however Heilum Luki is due back next week and will either start in his place or come onto the edge and reduce his minutes, so I’d say he’s a trap.

Eels: 1. Clinton Gutherson 2. Maika Sivo 3. Viliami Penisini 4. Sean Russell 5. Haze Dunster 6. Dylan Brown 7. Mitchell Moses 8. Wiremu Greig 9. Josh Hodgson 10. Junior Paulo 11. Shaun Lane 12. Ryan Matterson 13. J’maine Hopgood 14. Bryce Cartwright 15. Brendan Hands 16. Matt Doorey 17. Makahesi Makatoa 18. Jakob Arthur 19. Jack Murchie 20. Ofahiki Ogden 21. Daejarn Asi 22. Isaac Lumelume
Analysis: Haze Dunster comes in on the wing, however Bailey Simonsson is only out short-term due to a concussion, so he looks a trap.
Wiremu Greig starts in place of the injured Reagan Campbell-Gillard. At near bottom dollar, with a FRF crisis this week with Payne Haas suspended and Christian Welch on the bye, Greig looms as a reasonable purchase.
Parramatta play all three major bye rounds, where Junior Paulo will also be unavailable due to Origin, so he looms as a solid cheapie.
Embed from Getty ImagesKnights: 1. Lachlan Miller 2. Dominic Young 3. Dane Gagai 4. Bradman Best 5. Greg Marzhew 6. Kalyn Ponga 7. Jackson Hastings 8. Daniel Saifiti 9. Phoenix Crossland 10. Leo Thompson 11. Tyson Frizell 12. Lachlan Fitzgibbon 13. Kurt Mann 14. Tyson Gamble 15. Jacob Saifiti 16. Mathew Croker 17. Jack Hetherington 18. Simi Sasagi 19. Hymel Hunt 20. Jack Johns 21. Dylan Lucas 22. Adam Clune
Analysis: No major changes here, note that the Knights have the bye next week, so if you’re keen on any of their players it’s probably worth waiting until Round 11 to invest.
We’ve linked up with betr for the 2023 season, where we’ll deliver a weekly SC Playbook market, with the integration of NRL Fantasy (not to be confused with NRL Supercoach, slightly different point system. This week, we’ve got Greg Marzhew to score against the Eels at $2.25. FOLLOW HERE: https://bit.ly/3E24Jer

Broncos: 1. Reece Walsh 2. Jesse Arthars 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Herbie Farnworth 5. Selwyn Cobbo 6. Jock Madden 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Thomas Flegler 9. Billy Walters 10. Keenan Palasia 11. Kurt Capewell 12. Jordan Riki 13. Patrick Carrigan 14. Cory Paix 15. Corey Jensen 16. Kobe Hetherington 17. Martin Taupau 18. Deine Mariner 19. Brendan Piakura 20. Xavier Willison 21. Delouise Hoeter 22. Jordan Pereira
Analysis: Payne Haas is the big out for Supercoaches due to suspension, along with Ezra Mam.
I’ve seen lots selling Haas as a result with the tough draw and Origin looming where he’ll miss games and likely play fewer minutes.
I’d probably hold till Round 13 before flipping personally, butI understand the move.

Jai Arrow 11. Michael Chee Kam 12. Jacob Host 13. Cameron Murray 14. Jed Cartwright 15. Davvy Moale 16. Hame Sele 17. Thomas Burgess 18. Daniel Suluka-Fifita 19. Blake Taaffe 20. Josiah Karapani 21. Ben Lovett 22. Dean Hawkins
Analysis: Tevita Tatola is back at prop, with South Sydney finally getting back towards having their full-strength middles available.
This is relevant to Supercoach as the four forward bench makes Davvy Moale a very risky play in the FRF as minutes will likely be limited.

Raiders: 1. Sebastian Kris 2. Albert Hopoate 3. Jarrod Croker 4. Matthew Timoko 5. Jordan Rapana 6. Jack Wighton 7. Jamal Fogarty 8. Josh Papali’i 9. Zac Woolford 10. Joseph Tapine 11. Hudson Young 12. Elliott Whitehead 13. Corey Horsburgh 14. Tom Starling 15. Emre Guler 16. Pasami Saulo 17. Corey Harawira-Naera 18. James Schiller 19. Brad Schneider 20. Xavier Savage 21. Trey Mooney 22. Peter Hola
Analysis: Xavier Savage is on the extended bench, meaning Seb Kris stays at fullback and importantly Jarrod Croker gets his third game of the season and first cash rise.
His job security is far from safe though. As an owner, I’m hoping when Savage comes in that he goes to fullback and Kris to the wing in place of Hopoate (Cotric injured).
But it could easily be Kris to centre. Croker is a solid buy, but he’s far from safe.
Embed from Getty ImagesDolphins: 1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2. Jamayne Isaako 3. Euan Aitken 4. Brenko Lee 5. Robert Jennings 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Isaiya Katoa 8. Jesse Bromwich 9. Jeremy Marshall-King 10. Kenny Bromwich 11. Felise Kaufusi 12. Connelly Lemuelu 13. Tom Gilbert 14. Jarrod Wallace 15. Mark Nicholls 16. Ray Stone 17. Herman Ese’ese 18. Kurt Donoghoe 19. Poasa Faamausili 20. Edrick Lee 21. Mason Teague 22. Anthony Milford
Analysis: Not too much change here. With triple figures breakevens I think it’s time to cash in Jamayne Isaako and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow.
The Dolphins do play the first major bye round though, so if you think they can sustain strong scoring and hold value there’s a case to hold until Round 13.

Sea Eagles: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jason Saab 3. Reuben Garrick 4. Morgan Harper 5. Christian Tuipulotu 6. Cooper Johns 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Taniela Paseka 9. Lachlan Croker 10. Jake Trbojevic 11. Haumole Olakau’atu 12. Kelma Tuilagi 13. Josh Aloiai 14. Karl Lawton 15. Ethan Bullemor 16. Sean Keppie 17. Toafofoa Sipley 18. Aaron Woods 19. Kaeo Weekes 20. Samuela Fainu 21. Morgan Boyle 22. Ben Condon
Analysis: Tom Trbojevic has been named despite remaining in doubt with injury.
The way I see it, he’s bottoming out in price but has still scored very well for the majority of the season despite clearly not being at 100%.
If there’s concern for injury aggravation surely Manly won’t play him?
I don’t love many of the other fullback options at the moment, so if he does play I’ll hold for a nice match up with the Titans then reconsider if he struggles.
Reuben Garrick moves to centre which I don’t love for his Supercoach output.
I wouldn’t be buying him just yet, but it’s not exactly panic stations for owners.
Toa Sipley is worth a look as a FRF cheapie after two big performances.

Tino Fa’asuamaleaui 11. David Fifita 12. Joe Stimson 13. Isaac Liu 14. Jayden Campbell 15. Erin Clark 16. Klese Haas 17. Jo Vuna 18. Kruise Leeming 19. Aaron Schoupp 20. Thomas Weaver 21. Thomas Mikaele 22. Sam McIntyre
Analysis: No major changes here and not too much to speak.

Panthers: 1. Dylan Edwards 2. Sunia Turuva 3. Tyrone Peachey 4. Stephen Crichton 5. Brian To’o 6. Jarome Luai 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Mitch Kenny 10. Matt Eisenhuth 11. Scott Sorensen 12. Zac Hosking 13. Isaah Yeo 14. Soni Luke 15. Lindsay Smith 16. Spencer Leniu 17. Jaeman Salmon 18. Luke Garner 19. Thomas Jenkins 20. Chris Smith 21. Jack Cogger 22. Liam Henry
Analysis: With Izack Tago out for a lengthy period, Tyrone Peachey has surprisingly beaten out promising rookies Tom Jenkins and Jesse McLean for the centre spot.
I can’t believe I’m writing this, but at $289k, with a great draw ahead, in a red-hot Panthers side, Peachey may just be a decent buy?
Job security is the obvious issue, but he has a Supercoach friendly game as a tacklebuster, offloader and strong workrate, so he could be an option.
Hopefully he gets dual CTW-2RF positioning by next positional updates coming shortly too.
Keep a very close eye on this team leading into the game as there may be numerous changes, including Nathan Cleary who is in doubt with a groin niggle and won’t kick goals if he does play.
Tigers: 1. Jahream Bula 2. David Nofoaluma 3. Starford To’a 4. Brent Naden 5. Junior Tupou 6. Brandon Wakeham 7. Luke Brooks 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Apisai Koroisau 10. David Klemmer 11. Isaiah Papali’i 12. John Bateman 13. Fonua Pole 14. Jake Simpkin 15. Joe Ofahengaue 16. Alex Twal 17. Tommy Talau 18. Justin Matamua 19. Alex Seyfarth 20. Shawn Blore 21. Daine Laurie 22. Triston Reilly
Analysis: Not a lot to speak of here. Cheapie Jahream Bula scored 38 on debut.
It’s a shame he’s only available at fullback, but if he scores well this week we can maybe consider next round.

Warriors: 1. Taine Tuaupiki 2. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak 3. Marcelo Montoya 4. Adam Pompey 5. Edward Kosi 6. Dylan Walker 7. Shaun Johnson 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Wayde Egan 10. Bunty Afoa 11. Jackson Ford 12. Marata Niukore 13. Josh Curran 14. Freddy Lussick 15. Bayley Sironen 16. Tom Ale 17. Viliami Vailea 18. Demitric Sifakula 20. Ronald Volkman 21. Ali Leiataua 22. Kalani Going 23. Zyon Maiu’u
Analysis: Addin Fonua-Blake has attracted attention this week at FRF.
He certainly has the game to be Supercoach relevant, but I’m not convinced.
He’s scored tries the past two games and also play a massive 71 minutes due to injuries in the game last week.
Embed from Getty ImagesRoosters: 1. James Tedesco 2. Corey Allan 3. Joseph Suaalii 4. Paul Momirovski 5. Jaxson Paulo 6. Joseph Manu 7. Luke Keary 8. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 9. Brandon Smith 10. Lindsay Collins 11. Egan Butcher 12. Nat Butcher 13. Victor Radley 14. Drew Hutchison 15. Angus Crichton 16. Sitili Tupouniua 17. Matthew Lodge 18. Fletcher Baker 19. Sam Walker 20. Naufahu Whyte 21. Jake Turpin 22. Nathan Brown
Analysis: Joey Manu remains in the halves and looks a great buy once again after scoring 90 against the Dragons.
Keep an eye on Corey Allan as a potentially cheapie in a few weeks if he can score a few tries in the absence of Daniel Tupou.

Dragons: 1. Tyrell Sloan 2. Mathew Feagai 3. Moses Suli 4. Zac Lomax 5. Max Feagai 6. Talatau Amone 7. Ben Hunt 8. Michael Molo 9. Moses Mbye 10. Blake Lawrie 11. Ben Murdoch-Masila 12. Jack Bird 13. Jack de Belin 14. Jacob Liddle 15. Jaiyden Hunt 16. Toby Couchman 17. Josh Kerr 18. Zane Musgrove 19. Jayden Sullivan 20. Billy Burns 21. Viliami Fifita 22. Sione Finau
Analysis: Tyrell Sloan is the most traded in player this week, with back-to-back scores of 85 and 90 and a soft draw upcoming against the Dogs, Tigers and Cowboys.
He’s $464k with a breakeven of -38, so there’s lots of money incoming.
He’s already scored 15 points twice this season.
Make your own mind up on this one, he could score 150 or 5 on any given week so it’s a decision only you can make. If you jump on, good luck!
Embed from Getty ImagesBulldogs: 1. Hayze Perham 2. Declan Casey 3. Jake Averillo 4. Paul Alamoti 5. Braidon Burns 6. Josh Reynolds 7. Matt Burton 8. Max King 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Tevita Pangai Junior 11. Corey Waddell 12. Jacob Preston 13. Raymond Faitala-Mariner 14. Kurtis Morrin 15. Jayden Okunbor 16. Samuel Hughes 17. Ryan Sutton 19. Fa’amanu Brown 20. Karl Oloapu 21. Reece Hoffman 22. Jeral Skelton 23. Kyle Flanagan
Analysis: Not much happening at the Bulldogs, keep an eye on Karl Oloapu who may sneak into the 17 for game day.
Regardless, we wouldn’t look to buy for a few weeks anyway.
