The first of the major bye rounds for 2023 is behind us, and fortunately it was relatively kind to those who planned for it.
I’m absolutely astounded that the large majority of relevant Supercoach players who took the field this week scored very well.
Valynce Te Whare was an exception who only played a few minutes late in the win over the Dragons, but almost all popular players scored 45+ points.
What this meant was that anyone who happened to have more than 13 players may have had a lowest score of around 40 points drop out of their team.
This is of course because of the new major bye round changes where only the top 13 players
