The issue with “premiums” is that there’s an expectation for them to score well (DUH).
So, when players like Jack Steele score just FIFTY TWO POINTS, it can of course cause me to go a little crazy.
More so, it leaves my SuperCoach team in shambles.
This week, Elite Dadds scored 1968 which luckily only moved me down 312 spots to 3618th

Owning Steele is a painful pill to swallow, but he’s just one of many players/choices that has sent my team spiralling down the rankings over the past month.
*cough* picking Nat Fyfe over Sheldrick, Robertson, Melican etc. *cough*
I’m learning my lesson from last week and will be bringing in Sheldrick. I need his green dot this week and with a breakeven of -43, he’s set to make some coin over the next month.
After my two downgrades I’ve got just $555k in the bank so my options are limited, but I have genuinely been considering Tom Mitchell for a while anyway. He’s only dropped under 100 three times this season and currently has a three-round average of 120.
Harry Sheezel has just about reached keeper status, so my remaining five trades will be used on Fyfe and Steele/Ziebell to get up to full premo.
Anyway, let’s get into the wrap! I’ve done enough rambling.
This is Josh Dunkley’s (137) lowest score since Round 9… Unbelievable
Lachie Neale (144) shrugged off a tag
Will Ashcroft (87) has had an incredible debut season but can probably make way for a premo now
Devon Robertson (95) was a smoky downgrade option. Congrats if you got on!
Jaspa Fletcher (63) showed a ton of promise and looks as though he’s here to stay
Do you ever feel uneasy with how much you’re gambling with? You’re not alone, footy fans love a punt, but sometimes it can get a bit out of control. Luke Parker (145) returned from suspension in some style
Errol Gulden (111) bounced back from his poor 62 the week before
Angus Sheldrick (91) was also a tasty downgrade option. SuperCoach aside, he looks like an absolute jet
Lewis Melican (68) did enough to reward his owners
Jack Buller (17) made his debut for the Swans but got subbed off at 3QT
Josh Kelly (164) returned from injury and looked incredible
Kieren Briggs (129) dominated again… AGAIN. Do you trade or hold??
Stephen Coniglio (112) has back-to-back tons for the first time since Round 6-7
Prior to this game, Tom Green (127) hadn’t tonned up for three weeks
Harry Himmelberg (72) still hasn’t justified selection in my team
As a solo ruck, Luke Jackson (118) has a low score of just 106. Definitely one to keep an eye on for next year if the Dockers choose to trade Sean Darcy
Luke Ryan (106) tonned up for the first time since Round 8
Caleb Serong (84) has two sub-100 scores in his last three games…
It was a tough day for the Dockers, so I can partially forgive Nat Fyfe (47) for his putrid score. He had eight CBAs and should see even more this week with Matthew Johnson (32) likely omitted after hitting the rookie wall
Tim Taranto (128) has only dropped below 110 three times this season
In game 300, Trent Cotchin (127) had the second most CBAs out of Richmond midfielders. He has a 95 and 127 in his last two games, so he could be a potential smoky after his bye
Jayden Short (126) has a five-round average of 103
Jack Sinclair (102) is the cheapest he’ll be for the rest of the year
Rowan Marshall (90) was beaten convincingly in the ruck by Toby Nankervis (96)
If someone can tell me what the fuc* has happened to Jack Steele (52), I would love to hear it. Is he injured? Lazy? Not getting along with Ross the boss?? Whatever the issue is, he needs to fix it ASAP
Every time Todd Goldstein (119) has tonned up this year, he hasn’t scored below 110
Harry Sheezel (103) is a keeper!!
Jack Ziebell (68) had just 12 points in the second half
George Wardlaw (46) and Eddie Ford (30) had quiet games and can be traded this week
Why did I ever doubt Marcus Bontempelli’s (169) ability to play through injury?? The bye this week will do him the world of good and he will come out in Round 16 ready to explode yet again

Adam Treloar (142) is averaging 132 in his last three games
Tim English (133) bounced back remarkably well from his sub-par game last week
Tom Liberatore (115) shrugged off a tag
Caleb Daniel (103) tonned up for the fifth week in a row
Jack Macrae (81) dropped under 100 for the first time since Round 9
