Analysing the top 100,000 NRL Supercoach teams after Round 10

To make life easier when identifying true ownership of NRL Supercoach players, each week we’ll break it down into ranking brackets.

Whether you’re chasing ranks, or playing it safe up top, it’ll help identify the best ways to try and achieve your Supercoach goals.

The tables below sets out the proportion of Supercoach teams in the top 100, top 500, top 1,000, top 5,000, top 10,000, top 20,000 and top 100,000 that own each player.  

Let’s take a look at the ownership of players at the conclusion of Round 10.

Fullback (excl duals)

Ryan Papenhuyzen owners jumped ship to Scott Drinkwater last week, with the Cowboys fullback rising from 17% ownership to 33% among the top 10,000 ranked teams overall.

With the most owned fullback in Tom Trbojevic injured last week, and Trai Fuller dropping to 18^th man for the Dolphins, expect this to fluctuate largely again in Round 11.

CTW

CTW was the hot position in round 10 with the hamstring injury to the hugely owned Roger Tuivasa-Sheck who essentially halved in ownership last week.

Savvy coached flocked to Dominic Young for his 160 points, his ownership rose from 1% in the top 10,000 to 46%, which rises to 53% of the top 100!

Five-eighth

Ethan Strange’s ownership almost halved with a big breakeven and the Raiders on the bye.

His owners largely moved onto Dylan Brown who went from 37% to 43% in the top 10k.

Halfback

Nathan Cleary had admirers last week rising from 38% to 44% ownership among the top 10k overall.

These were likely Jahrome Hughes owners who dropped from 6% to 3% in the top 10k.

With the highly owned Cleary and Shaun Johnson both injured, and Nicho Hynes in doubt, this position will be blown wide open in coming rounds.

2RF 

Despite the high price tag, Angus Crichton’s ownership continues to rise to well above 90% among top ranked teams.

Impatient Kai Pearce-Paul owners responded to his benching for Newcastle last week, with his ownership dropping from 79% to 71% in the top 1,000 overall.

FRF 

Addin Fonua-Blake’s ownership continues to rise steadily, going from 57% to 61% in the top 10k.

Not much movement elsewhere in the FRF position.

HOK 

There was little to no movement across the hooking position outside of a handful of Api Koroisau owners who had seen enough to give him the flick with an injury concern.
