SHARKS v DOLPHINS

Thursday, 7:50pm, PointsBet Stadium, Sydney

Sharks: 1. William Kennedy 2. Sione Katoa 3. Jesse Ramien 4. Kayal Iro 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Braydon Trindall 7. Nicho Hynes 8. Toby Rudolf 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Oregon Kaufusi 11. Briton Nikora 12. Siosifa Talakai 13. Cameron McInnes

Bench: 14. Jack Williams 15. Thomas Hazelton 16. Braden Hamlin-Uele 17. Royce Hunt

Reserves: 18. Daniel Atkinson 19. Tuku Hau Tapuha 20. Mawene Hiroti 21. Jayden Berrell 22. Samuel Stonestreet

Analysis: Nicho Hynes is back for the Sharks which is good news to the nearly 35,000 Supercoaches who have held onto him.

Back at home, Nicho has been on fire at Shark Park averaging 102 points in 4 games with a min score of 75 – if you take out his injury-affected 3 against Penrith.

His breakeven is 208 points so for those looking to bring him in, it would be worth seeing out the Origin period when he will drop to a lower price. This week is projected to drop $100k.

Siosifa Talakai had a season-high 88 replacing Teig Wilton at starting left 2nd row.

With only 0.9% ownership from the top 10% of Supercoaches, Sifa looms as a POD play with Wilton facing up to 5 weeks with an AC injury, according to the NRL Physio.

At the time of writing, 307 coaches have already traded him in for Round 15.

Ronaldo Mulitalo comes back into the frame with the Trindall-Hynes halves combo named.

The Sharks winger averaged 90 points when his main halves are playing with a minimum score of 56.

Briton Nikora also draws interest with the Dolphins conceding 60 points on average to right 2nd rowers this season including at least 77 points in 3 of their last 5 games.

Nikora was the 6th most traded in 2RF last week amongst the top 10% of Supercoaches and rewarded them with 62 points including 40 tackles and only 1 miss.

The Sharks will have the bye next round (Rd 16) and Round 20 so keep that in mind when making trades this week.

Dolphins: 1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2. Jamayne Isaako 3. Jake Averillo 4. Herbie Farnworth 5. Jack Bostock 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Isaiya Katoa 8. Kenny Bromwich 9. Jeremy Marshall-King 10. Felise Kaufusi 11. Connelly Lemuelu 12. Euan Aitken 13. Max Plath

Bench: 14. Josh Kerr 15. Mark Nicholls 16. Ray Stone 17. Kurt Donoghoe

Reserves: 18. Oryn Keeley 19. Sean O’Sullivan 20. Jarrod Wallace 21. Tesi Niu 22. Trai Fuller

Analysis: The Phins will welcome back a host of Origin and injured stars this week including Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Felise Kaufusi, Kodi Nikorima and Jesse Browmich.

These players will most likely impact owners who have Trai Fuller and Connelly Lemuelu with the former dropping out of the side and the latter moving back to the bench.

Jamayne Isaako‘s match up looks favourable considering the Sharks have conceded more tries to right wingers than any other position this year with 9.

Add onto that, Isaako averages 77 points in dry conditions including 80+ scores in 3 of his last 4 matches.

Jeremy Marshall-King owners will be happy to know that the Sharks have conceded the 3rd most points to hookers in the last 5 rounds with 62.

Those looking to get JMK should be wary that whilst the Phins do play Round 16 it will be up against the Storm – a team where he has averaged 33 points in 6 games with 53 his max.

Euan Aitken is still a POD play with just 7.5% ownership from the top 10% of Supercoaches.

Quite crazy that he still hasn’t scored anything under 50 points this season.

He is averaging 74 points in his last 5 night games with a min score of 60 in those games.

RAIDERS v COWBOYS

Friday, 6pm, GIO Stadium, Canberra

Raiders: 1. Jordan Rapana 2. Nick Cotric 3. Matthew Timoko 4. Sebastian Kris 5. Xavier Savage 6. Ethan Strange 7. Kaeo Weekes 8. Josh Papali’i 9. Danny Levi 10. Joseph Tapine 11. Hudson Young 12. Elliott Whitehead 13. Morgan Smithies

Bench: 14. Tom Starling 15. Ata Mariota 16. Trey Mooney 17. Emre Guler

Reserves: 18. Albert Hopoate 19. Zac Woolford 20. Peter Hola 21. Simi Sasagi 22. Hohepa Puru

Analysis: Joseph Tapine has gained some interest as the 4th most traded in player by the top 10% of Supercoaches.

Interestingly, he averages 85 points (as opposed to his 63 season average) when he plays 60+ minutes which he has done in 4 games this year including his last 2 games where he has scored 110 and 75.

Further to that, Tapine has a nice match up against a Cowboys side that has conceded a try to a front-rower in each of their last 3 games, with a prop scoring 100+ points in each of the last 2 games.

The Raiders will play in Round 16, against the Tigers, which makes owning Tapine a bonus.

Meanwhile, Ethan Strange and Morgan Smithies are again on the trade block being the 8th and 12th for traded out players so far this week.

Smithies has gone under 50 points in his last 6 games, and is an understandable sell.

Ethan Strange might just be a hold, particularly with the fact that he is playing Round 16.

The rookie has scored at least 61 points in the 3 games the Raiders have been the favourite.

On top of that, the Cowboys have conceded 90+ points to five-eighths in 3 of their last 4 night games.

Cowboys: 1. Scott Drinkwater 2. Kyle Feldt 3. Valentine Holmes 4. Viliami Vailea 5. Murray Taulagi 6. Tom Dearden 7. Chad Townsend 8. Jordan McLean 9. Reece Robson 10. Reuben Cotter 11. Heilum Luki 12. Jeremiah Nanai 13. Jason Taumalolo

Bench: 14. Sam McIntyre 15. Thomas Mikaele 16. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki 17. Griffin Neame

Reserves: 18. Braidon Burns 19. Harrison Edwards 20. Tomas Chester 21. Jaxon Purdue 22. Jamal Shibasaki

Analysis: The curious case of Scott Drinkwater continues.

After back-to-back tons, Drinky couldn’t back it up at home against the Warriors much to the disappointment of many as he was the most popular captain this round.

This week is a nightmare clash – night game in Canberra. The highest score this year has been Jayden’s Campbell 31. In the last 6 games, 4 fullbacks have failed to crack 50+ points.

The question is who to jump to?

Trell and Tedesco are currently in Origin limbo. Charnze is another valid option with solid bye coverage, however, the most popular trade-out has been Drinky to Garrick.

With the Cowboys only playing twice in the next 4 weeks, there isn’t too many players to look at – best to save your trades on them.

RABBITOHS v BRONCOS

Friday, 8pm, Accor Stadium, Sydney

Rabbitohs: 1. Latrell Mitchell 2. Alex Johnston 3. Taane Milne 4. Richard Kennar 5. Jacob Gagai 6. Jack Wighton 7. Cody Walker 8. Davvy Moale 9. Damien Cook 10. Sean Keppie 11. Michael Chee Kam 12. Jai Arrow 13. Keaon Koloamatangi

Bench: 14. Peter Mamouzelos 15. Tallis Duncan 16. Cameron Murray 17. Thomas Burgess

Reserves: 18. Dion Teaupa 19. Liam Le Blanc 20. Adam Christensen 21. Chase Chapman 22. Bayleigh Bentley-Hape

Analysis: Latrell Mitchell put on an absolute clinic in his Origin audition scoring his 4th consecutive ton against the Titans and making those that captained him very happy.

But how will long will owners be smiling? If Latrell gets picked for NSW for Game 2 and 3, he will miss 3 of the next 4 weeks.

He might be a hold for now as he comes up against Broncos’ side conceding 92 points on average to fullbacks in their last 5 games including 2 tons.

Cody Walker is the 2nd most traded-in player this week after his 103 against the Titans was enough evidence to support his point-scoring ability at halfback.

South Sydney completely switched their side of attack to cater for Cody with 3 of their opening 4 tries coming down their right side.

The Broncos’ left side defence is their weakest so there is no doubt the Bunnies will be coming down that side of the field again.

Cam Murray returns from a hip pointer injury for the Rabbitohs coming off the bench.

He is at $567k with an average of 58 and a breakeven of 67. A wait-and-watch for now.

Broncos: 1. Tristan Sailor 2. Corey Oates 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Selwyn Cobbo 5. Deine Mariner 6. Ezra Mam 7. Jock Madden 8. Corey Jensen 9. Billy Walters 10. Payne Haas 11. Brendan Piakura 12. Jordan Riki 13. Patrick Carrigan

Bench: 14. Tyson Smoothy 15. Xavier Willison 16. Kobe Hetherington 17. Jack Gosiewski

Reserves: 18. Josiah Karapani 19. Fletcher Baker 20. Israel Leota 21. Martin Taupau 22. Blake Mozer

Analysis: Another week for the Broncos without star fullback Reece Walsh and already there has been 500 coaches trading him out ahead of Round 15.

The most owned Bronco, Xavier Willison returns after missing last week’s game for personal reasons.

He has a breakeven of 52, but has only cracked 50 twice in 9 games this year. He did score 50 last time he played Souths.

Brendan Piakura has been flying under the radar with 3 consecutive 50+ scores.

His 54 last week was the first half-century he has made this year without a try or assist.

At $464k, 7.8% ownership and with the Broncos missing 1 game in the next 5 weeks, he could be option from Round 17 onwards.

Corey Oates has been named however he reportedly went down in training on Tuesday with a minor knee knock, which may bring Josiah Karapani into the conversation.

Karapani has a breakeven of -69 and is projected to jump $89.5k in value. In 2 games, he averages 69 points with 40+ in base alone.

TIGERS v TITANS

Saturday, 3pm, Leichhardt Oval, Sydney

Tigers: 1. Jahream Bula 2. Alexander Lobb 3. Brent Naden 4. Justin Olam 5. Charlie Staines 6. Aidan Sezer 7. Apisai Koroisau 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Tallyn Da Silva 10. Alex Twal 11. Fonua Pole 12. Samuela Fainu 13. Justin Matamua

Bench: 14. Alex Seyfarth 15. Sione Fainu 16. Reuben Porter 17. Solomona Faataape

Reserves: 18. Kit Laulilii 19. Luke Laulilii 20. Heath Mason 22. Jordan Miller 23. Adam Doueihi

Analysis: Lachlan Galvin has been ruled out with a fractured hand, with Aiden Sezer being a straight swap after serving his suspension.

Supercoaches have been quick to trade out Galvin, with the Tigers rookie being the most traded out player this week. Hughes, Wishart and Walker have been the top 3 popular trade options.

Api Koroisau has been named at halfback, where he has scored 66 and 79 in his two games for the Tigers in that position.

The Tigers skipper punched out an impressive 75-point performance despite being on the receiving end of a 56-14 loss.

His last three round average has been 73, well over his 62 season average.

Titans: 1. Keano Kini 2. Alofiana Khan-Pereira 3. Brian Kelly 4. Phillip Sami 5. Jojo Fifita 6. Jayden Campbell 7. Kieran Foran 8. Moeaki Fotuaika 9. Chris Randall 10. Josiah Pahulu 11. David Fifita 12. Beau Fermor 13. Klese Haas

Bench: 14. Sam Verrills 15. Isaac Liu 16. Keenan Palasia 17. Erin Clark

Reserves: 18. Joe Stimson 19. Tanah Boyd 20. Jacob Alick-Wiencke 21. Iszac Fa’asumaleaui 22. Jaylan De Groot

Analysis: David Fifita was one of the most traded-in players last week and the 2nd most popular captain.

The points weren’t as free-flowing as previous weeks, in fact his 81 points was his lowest score since Round 6.

Nonetheless, he is still the 4th most traded-in player this week and, with QLD winning Game 1, a must-have for the rest of the Origin bye period.

He averages 73 points against the Tigers which is impressive considering he hasn’t scored a try against them in his career.

Brian Kelly is chipping away as a super POD having scored 60+ points in 8 of his last 9 games.

He is currently $641k, with 0.9% ownership but a sizeable breakeven of 76.

WARRIORS v STORM

Saturday, 5:30pm, Go Media Stadium, Auckland

Warriors: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak 3. Rocco Berry 4. Adam Pompey 5. Marcelo Montoya 6. Te Maire Martin 7. Shaun Johnson 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Wayde Egan 10. Jackson Ford 11. Marata Niukore 12. Mitchell Barnett 13. Tohu Harris

Bench: 14. Chanel Harris-Tavita 15. Dylan Walker 16. Jazz Tevaga 17. Kurt Capewell

Reserves: 18. Tom Ale 20. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 21. Taine Tuaupiki 22. Freddy Lussick 23. Jacob Laban

Analysis: Shaun Johnson returns for the Warriors pushing Te Maire Martin to five-eighth and Chanel Harris-Tavita out of the side.

With a breakeven of 153 and poor historical performances against the Storm averaging just 38 in his last 6, he might be a wait-and-watch.

SJ’s return is bittersweet, as Te Maire Martin scored his 2nd consecutive ton with a big outing against the Cowboys.

Since SJ’s injury, TMM has scored 93, 115 and 111. In his last 4 games with SJ, he has averaged 35 with a high of 50.

Addin Fonua-Blake repaid the faith of owners who held onto him, and those 1600 supercoaches who brought him in last week, with 103 points.

Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad also had a night out in Townsville with 101 points in his 2-try performance.

With a decent average of 63 against the Storm and the Titans leaking points left, right and centre to fullbacks, CNK looms as POD option for the remainder of the Origin bye period.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has been named on the extended bench, but Andrew Webster said he is unlikely to play.

Storm: 1. Sualauvi Faalogo 2. Grant Anderson 3. Dean Ieremia 4. Nick Meaney 5. Xavier Coates 6. Tyran Wishart 7. Jahrome Hughes 8. Tui Kamikamica 9. Harry Grant 10. Josh King 11. Shawn Blore 12. Eliesa Katoa 13. Trent Loiero

Bench: 14. Bronson Garlick 15. Christian Welch 16. Nelson Asofa-Solomona 17. Joe Chan

Reserves: 18. Young Tonumaipea 19. Jack Howarth 20. Lazarus Vaalepu 21. Chris Lewis 22. Kane Bradley

Analysis: Tyran Wishart continues to go from strength-to-strength scoring a career-high 122 against the Knights.

At $501k, with a breakeven of -16 and a price rise of $58k next week, he has become an automatic trade-in for Lachlan Galvin.

Speaking of trade-ins, Jahrome Hughes is #1 on the list across all Supercoaches this week.

Hughes also cracked 100 points last week with a try, assist, 2 line-break assists and 27 tackles.

This week’s match-up is in his favour scoring 70+ points in 7 of his last 8 games against the Warriors.

Looking for for the best rate on your home loan? Paddy and George from Mortgage Choice SCW can get you the best rate possible. It’s a super easy process, so flick them a message. Better yet, save $129 by mentioning SC Playbook for a FREE CONSULT!

Nick Meaney has a 3-RD average of 92 following a monster 108 points last week against the Knights.

His price has soared nearly $100k in that time period and is expected to go up $20k this week with his 44 breakeven.

He doesn’t mind a game against the Warriors scoring 6 tries in 4 games against the Warriors since joining Melbourne with scores of 61, 117, 50 and 71.

Sua Fa’alogo‘s games are numbered with this week’s clash most likely his last before Ryan Papenhuyzen returns from injury.

With a breakeven of 47, he will likely rise $7k for those holding on for the cash generation.

EELS v ROOSTERS

Saturday, 7:35pm, CommBank Stadium, Sydney

Eels: 1. Clinton Gutherson 2. Maika Sivo 3. Viliami Penisini 4. Sean Russell 5. Blaize Talagi 6. Dylan Brown 7. Mitchell Moses 8. Reagan Campbell-Gillard 9. Brendan Hands 10. Junior Paulo 11. Kelma Tuilagi 12. Bryce Cartwright 13. J’maine Hopgood

Bench: 14. Daejarn Asi 15. Shaun Lane 16. Joe Ofahengaue 17. Makahesi Makatoa

Reserves: 18. Wiremu Greig 19. Morgan Harper 20. Joey Lussick 21. Ryan Matterson 22. Luca Moretti

Analysis: Despite some of his defensive efforts, Blaize Talagi managed to score 69 points adding a 4th consecutive try to his tally when starting.

He has a breakeven of 44 points this week, however the Roosters have conceded the 3rd least points to right wingers with 4 of the last 5 scores under 41 points.

Dylan Brown produced his second-lowest score of the year with 50 points despite a try assist.

Maybe it was the time of the day because he averages 72 points in his last 5 night games…

J’maine Hopgood has been named despite Trent Barrett saying he shouldn’t have played Round 14 after suffering a nerve problem in his back.

Ryan Matterson has been name on the reserves as he comes back from illness.

Roosters: 1. James Tedesco 2. Daniel Tupou 3. Fetalaiga Pauga 4. Joseph Manu 5. Dominic Young 6. Luke Keary 7. Sam Walker 8. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 9. Connor Watson 10. Lindsay Collins 11. Angus Crichton 12. Victor Radley 13. Naufahu Whyte

Bench: 14. Sandon Smith 15. Spencer Leniu 16. Nat Butcher 17. Terrell May

Reserves: 18. Michael Jennings 19. Sitili Tupouniua 20. Zach Dockar-Clay 21. Ethan King 22. Siua Wong

Analysis: Connor Watson returns for the Roosters replacing Brandon Smith who has been stood down.

Before injury, Watson was averaging 88 points per game in his last 3 games which is well above his 63 season average.

He could become a super POD play with only 1% ownership from the top 10% of Supercoaches.

The next 4 weeks for the Roosters look mouth-watering with the Eels, Dogs, Tigers and Dragons all next on the list.

Joey Manu and Dom Young owners would have loved seeing the Bulldogs’ right edge run through the Eels on Monday.

The Eels are conceding 80 and 64 points to the right centre and wing respectively. The average of the right centre goes up to 93 when the opposition is the favourite.

Could be a long night for Parra fans.

Front rowers, Spencer Leniu and Lindsay Collins are back in the Roosters line up, which is bad news for Terrell May who will likely play less coming off the bench this week.

SEA EAGLES v DRAGONS

Sunday, 2pm, 4 Pines Park, Sydney

Sea Eagles: 1. Lehi Hopoate 2. Jason Saab 3. Tolutau Koula 4. Reuben Garrick 5. Tommy Talau 6. Luke Brooks 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Taniela Paseka 9. Karl Lawton 10. Nathan Brown 11. Haumole Olakau’atu 12. Ben Trbojevic 13. Jake Trbojevic

Bench: 14. Gordon Chan Kum Tong 15. Corey Waddell 16. Ethan Bullemor 17. Toafofoa Sipley

Reserves: 18. Raymond Tuiamalo Vaega 19. Jaxson Paulo 20. Jake Simpkin 21. Aitasi James 22. Aaron Schoupp

Analysis: Tommy Talau set the Supercoach world alight with an unexpected 4-try haul against the Panthers.

His 149 points against Penrith is his second consecutive ton following his 100-point effort against Melbourne the week before.

Nearly 200 supercoaches have traded him in, which isn’t a bad shout with the Sea Eagles playing the Dragons, Rabbitohs, Cowboys, Knights and Titans in the next 6 weeks.

Reuben Garrick continues to flex on the rest of the CTWs with his 93-point performance against Penrith. He even missed 4 goals to show off even more!

Garrick has scored 92 and 93 in his last 2 day games, and, taking away his 1 against Penrith, he has averaged 103 at Brookvale Oval at right centre in 5 games.

Dragons: 1. Tyrell Sloan 2. Zac Lomax 3. Moses Suli 4. Max Feagai 5. Mathew Feagai 6. Kyle Flanagan 7. Ben Hunt 8. Francis Molo 9. Jacob Liddle 10. Jack de Belin 11. Luciano Leilua 12. Jaydn Su’A 13. Tom Eisenhuth

Bench: 14. Blake Lawrie 15. Raymond Faitala-Mariner 16. Ben Murdoch-Masila 17. Toby Couchman

Reserves: 18. Fa’amanu Brown 19. Michael Molo 20. Christian Tuipulotu 21. Ryan Couchman 22. Sione Finau

Analysis: Zac Lomax was a late post-Origin inclusion for the Dragons and starred with 170 points on the right wing.

With a breakeven of 31, the Dragons winger is likely to go up a further $46k next week and continue to rise until the end of Origin period.

With that in mind, for those who have moved on and are focussing on H2H, Lomax could be a buy option. For those overall players, it might be worth waiting till he has peaked.

KNIGHTS v PANTHERS

Sunday, 4:05pm, McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle

Knights: 1. Fletcher Sharpe 2. Enari Tuala 3. Dane Gagai 4. Bradman Best 5. Greg Marzhew 6. Jack Cogger 7. Jackson Hastings 8. Jacob Saifiti 9. Jayden Brailey 10. Leo Thompson 11. Tyson Frizell 12. Kai Pearce-Paul 13. Adam Elliott

Bench: 14. Phoenix Crossland 15. Daniel Saifiti 16. Dylan Lucas 17. Brodie Jones

Reserves: 18. Jack Hetherington 19. Mathew Croker 20. Will Pryce 21. Krystian Mapapalangi 22. David Armstrong

Analysis: David Armstrong‘s worst nightmare came true on the weekend, his replacement Fletcher Sharpe brained it with 62 points on debut including a try.

Unsurprisingly, Supercoaches have swiftly traded out at Armstrong as he is now the 2nd most traded out player this week.

Surprisingly, Fletcher Sharpe has been untouched with most Supercoaches trading in Lehi Hopoate and Josiah Karapani instead.

Jayden Brailey was a shock late benching on Sunday only playing 31 minutes and scoring 21 points.

He has been named to start this weekend, but owners should be warned that O’Brien could start Crossland last minute again.

Embed from Getty Images

Panthers: 1. Dylan Edwards 2. Sunia Turuva 3. Izack Tago 4. Paul Alamoti 5. Brian To’o 6. Jack Cole 7. Jarome Luai 8. Moses Leota 9. Mitch Kenny 10. James Fisher-Harris 11. Scott Sorensen 12. Luke Garner 13. Isaah Yeo

Bench: 14. Daine Laurie 15. Lindsay Smith 16. Liam Henry 17. Matt Eisenhuth

Reserves: 18. Luke Sommerton 19. Mavrik Geyer 20. Liam Martin 21. Brad Schneider 22. Jesse McLean

Analysis: Dylan Edwards has been named to start for the Panthers just 11 days after what would have been his Origin debut.

It’d be great to know now if Madge doesn’t have him in his plans.

Edwards has scored 3 tons in his last 4 games, and has scored 65+ in each of his last 3 games v Knights and Cowboys, his next 2 opponents.

Jack Cole continues to shine in Cleary’s absence scoring an impressive 89 points last week against Manly.

He has a three-round average of 80 points, with a breakeven of 6 this week and price rise of $45k projected.
