Fullback (excluding DPP)

Kalyn Ponga is the most traded-in player for coaches ranked in the top 1% with the most popular trade-out being James Tedesco given the Roosters have the bye this week.

James Tedesco is the 2nd most traded-out player this week for the top 1% which is hard to believe considering his final 4 games are the Eels, Titans, Raiders and Rabbitohs – all teams he can easily score 100+ against…

Tom Trbojevic and Scott Drinkwater have also had positive ownership increases with Reece Walsh and Ryan Papenhuyzen forced out as a trade-off.

CTW

Dom Young‘s hamstring injury has led to him being the 2nd most traded-out player for coaches ranked in the top 10% with the popular CTW replacement being Zac Lomax.

Zac Lomax is the 3rd most traded-in player for coaches ranked in the top 1%. The Dragons’ tough draw is just about over with the Bulldogs, Titans, Sharks, Eels and Raiders left for the run home.

Valentine Holmes has made a comeback in teams ranked in the top 1% with his ownership going from 33% at Round 20 to 67% heading into Round 23.

Val has scored back-to-back tons and has the battling Broncos and Raiders next up before the Cowboys have the Rd 25 bye.

5/8

Cameron Munster has been the most popular 5/8 trade in this week with 5% of coaches ranked in the top 1% bringing him into their side.

It might be a bit early with Penrith at Penrith following their Souths match and rumours of players being rested for either the Cowboys/Broncos game.

HLF

Jahrome Hughes has dropped slightly in ownership among the top 1% of Supercoaches. He has a 3RA of 50, well below his season average of 74, coinciding with the return of the Storm’s primary spine.

Sam Walker has been a popular trade-in option after he scored his 2nd consecutive ton. The Roosters’ run home following the bye, as mentioned above, is very good for Walker.

FRF

Terrell May to Payne Haas was the most popular trade this week… oh, how the tables have turned.

Payne Haas season-ending injury has left coaches with no other decision but to trade him out, thus he is the most traded out this week – 11,760 trades (and its only Wednesday).

Joseph Tapine is the most popular replacement with over 4500 trades from Haas.

Meanwhile, Terrell May has been completely overlooked with his untimely bye leading to him dropping in ownership.

2RF

Despite his shock omission with injury, most coaches aren’t freaking out to much about Eliesa Katoa with only a slight drop in ownership this week with most owners jumping to Haumole Olakau’atu.

For the most part, ownership for this category is stable.

HOK

Harry Grant has gained interest after he posted his highest score of the season with 119 against the Dragons in a losing side.

Most coaches aren’t so much trading a hooker option to him but rather going through him via Payne Haas.
