3 fullbacks sit in the top 3 most traded-in players this week. No prizes for guessing them.
Kalyn Ponga leads the group with a 6% increase in ownership for the top 1% ranked coaches after his 130 against the Tigers. Sharks next up is his biggest battle, then its Souths, Titans and Dolphins…
James Tedesco is fresh off a bye up against the Eels who conceded 134 points (Round 23’s top score) to Panthers fullback Daine Laurie. Roosters have the Titans on a flat track in Goldie, Raiders at home and Souths away to finish.
Tom Trbojevic returned to form with 121 against the Raiders. His run home is arguably the hardest with the Warriors at home this week, followed by Tigers (A), Bulldogs (A) and then Sharks (H).
Patience has worn thin for Greg Marzhew with the Knights winger being the 3rd most traded-out player by coaches ranked in the top 1%.
Cheapie Casey McLean‘s inability to post a decent score in a high-scoring affair against the Eels has also seen him sit in the top 6 most traded out players.
Zac Lomax is the most traded-in player this week with 81 points against the Dogs. He has got the Titans, Sharks, Eels and Raiders to play with the latter three teams known for their left-edge defensive troubles.
Joseph Manu has also seen some interest this week, but if Timmy Williams is looking to trade him in I’d steer clear haha – Joey is well aware of the curse too.
Jayden Campbell is the 8th most traded out player this week but that is mainly to make way for one of the three fullbacks I mentioned above.
Other than 5/8s have been fairly stable in ownership with little jumps for Lachlan Galvin and Matt Burton
The biggest ownership shifts have come between Sam Walker and Jahrome Hughes.
Jahrome Hughes is the most traded-out player for coaches ranked in the top 1%. His scores haven’t been too bad with three straight in the 60s.
His run home is definitely tougher compared to Sam Walker (see run home under FLBs) with the Storm facing Penrith this week, followed by Dolphins, Cowboys and Broncos – with a resting likely in one of those last two.
Joseph Tapine rewarded coaches who bought him last week with an 87, even with a 10-minute spell in the sin bin! That has led a few stragglers to bring him in for this week.
Payne Haas is the 2nd most traded-out player for coaches ranked in the top 1%. The lateness to sell Haas, I assume, was a tactic to bring in Angus Crichton via duals as that is the 3rd most popular trade option this week.
Angus Crichton is back and is the 2nd most traded-In player this week among all coaches. He has three scores above 70 in his last 4 games and scored 100 earlier in the year v Parra.
Keaon Koloamatangi has been the man to make way as he has been reduced to 50-odd minutes in recent weeks with his Supercoach scores dropping as a result. He is back on the edge for the Bunnies where his scoring isn’t as glorious, but it is the Tigers I guess.
Nothing to major in the HOK ownership with stocks in Api Koroisau jumping slightly despite a 51 score.
Reed Mahoney and Brendan Hands owners would take that over the sub-30 scores they copped (I have both…)
