NRLAnalysing the NRL Supercoach ownership of players across the top teams heading into the last week of Supercoach.
To make life easier when identifying true ownership of NRL Supercoach players, each week we’ll break it down into ranking brackets.
Whether you’re chasing ranks, or playing it safe up top, it’ll help identify the best ways to try and achieve your Supercoach goals.
The tables below sets out the proportion of Supercoach teams in the top 1%, top 5%, top 10% and overall that own each player.
Let’s take a look at the ownership of players heading into Round 27.

Tom Trbojevic went down with an untimely injury last week against the Dogs and is the most traded-out player for Round 27 – nearly twice as many as Sam Walker.
With most already having James Tedesco in their side as well, Kalyn Ponga has been the obvious replacement and is the most traded-in player this week with 170 coaches in the top 1% bringing him in for his massive clash against the Dolphins at home.
POD players Dylan Edwards and Clint Gutherson have had some nibbles but it looks like the top coaches will be running with a Ponga/Tedesco FLB combo.
Not too much movement for the top owned CTWs.
Zac Lomax has had an increase in ownership after he scored 100+ points in the last 15 minutes of his side’s loss to the Eels.
The biggest mover isn’t on this list, and that is Sua Fa’alogo who is the 5th most traded-in player this week for coaches ranked in the top 1%. He gets the #1 jersey for the Storm and, although only averaging 62 when starting at fullback, the Broncos are seriously depleted this week and have conceded 93 points per game to fullbacks in their last 5 games.
Dylan Brown has been a popular replacement for Sam Walker with his dual position coming in at 4th as the most traded-in player this week overall.
He scored a season-high 162 points last week against the Dragons and could be in for a huge game in the ‘Spoon Bowl’.
The interesting thing is that he doesn’t crack the top 10 most traded-in players for coaches ranked in the top 1%…
With most coaches left scrambling with limited trades it looks like most people are copping an injured Sam Walker on their reserves this week.
For those who can afford a trade, Jahrome Hughes is the 3rd most traded-in player across each ranking bracket with very few gambling on Jarome Luai or Nicho Hynes this week – POD play maybe?
Two front-rowers crack into the top 10 most traded-in players this week – oh the luxury of having enough trades to use them on this position!
Joseph Tapine is the 5th most traded-in player with Fonua-Blake the popular replacement considering he is off for the year.
Terrell May has also resurfaced after scoring 86 points against the Raiders last weekend. With the Roosters depleted, I wouldn’t be surprised if May gets some extra time on the field against the poor Bunnies.
The fallout from David Fifita‘s omission this week has yet to impact ownership numbers with minimal movements.
In saying that, he is the 5th most traded-out player this week, with most coaches bringing someone not on the list below – Isaah Yeo.
I have loved owning Yeo this year, and I reckon he is a big POD captain this week after he has set season-high scores in each of his last 2 games. Yes, there is a world where he gets rested early if the Pahs are pumping the Titans but there is also a world where the Titans push the Panthers… don’t fact-check me on that…
No movement whatsoever in terms of hookers with none making any most traded-in or traded-out list this week.
