Matt Gilkes – Sydney Thunder
Sam Billings – Sydney Thunder
Gilkes could be the play here with a spot available in the Thunder top order. Keep an eye on final team lists and jump on if you need a keeper.
Removed: Cameron Bancroft
Round 7 & 8 targets
Matthew Wade – Hobart Hurricanes
Ben McDermott – Hobart Hurricanes
Matty Wade is getting cheap. Unfortunately Hope departs before the Canes’ round 8 double. Perhaps this opens up a top order spot for McDermott though.

David Warner – Sydney Thunder
Jason Sangha – Sydney Thunder
Oliver Davies – Sydney Thunder
Sherfane Rutherford – Sydney Thunder
Will Sutherland – Melbourne Renegades
Jack Edwards – Sydney Sixers
Weather permitting, we can focus on the Thunder contingent for their double this round. Sherfane Rutherford is another candidate to bat up top for the Thunder, before he departs after round 6. I’d prefer the likes of Warner though, $$ permitting. Sangha (if available) and Davies are also options who could bowl the odd over.
Added: Sherfane Rutherford
Moved up: Thunder contingent

Jamie Overton – Adelaide Strikers
Matt Short – Adelaide Strikers
Cooper Connolly – Perth Scorchers
Nikhil Chaudhary – Hobart Hurricanes
Hayden Kerr – Sydney Sixers
Jacob Bethell – Melbourne Renegades
Michael Neser – Brisbane Heat
Mitch Owen – Hobart Hurricanes
Caleb Jewell – Hobart Hurricanes
Added: Jacob Bethell
Overton still looks essential. I’d be holding through the round 6 bye if you can. He’s expected to depart for international duties after round 8.
Matt Short will also be a must if/when he returns from injury. Cooper Connolly keeps on keeping on.
Nikhil Chaudhary looks the pick of the Hurricanes batters due to his role with the ball.
Kerr could be a play if he keeps his place when Abbott returns. If Bethell continues bowling he could be another allrounder to consider.
Wait and watch on Neser for a game or two to check he’s bowling his full allotment.
Mitch Owen is an option for the round 8 double. He could also be joined at the top of the order by Caleb Jewell, who is currently priced at just $64k.

Chris Green – Sydney Thunder
Lockie Ferguson – Sydney Thunder
Wes Agar – Sydney Thunder
Tom Andrews – Sydney Thunder
Moved up: Thunder contingent (and Ferguson moved above Agar)
I’d purely focus on Thunder bowlers for their round 6 double. If you don’t already own Agar, I’d firstly prioritise Green and Ferguson.

Jhye Richardson – Perth Scorchers
Ben Dwarshuis – Sydney Sixers
Sean Abbott – Sydney Sixers
Jason Behrendorff – Perth Scorchers
Xavier Bartlett – Brisbane Heat
Lance Morris – Perth Scorchers
Nathan Ellis – Hobart Hurricanes
Chris Jordan – Hobart Hurricanes
Riley Meredith – Hobart Hurricanes
Billy Stanlake – Hobart Hurricanes
Added: Lance Morris
No changes here except for the addition of Lance Morris. Well done if you followed Maxy Bryden and jumped on him. If not, he still looks a good late season POD.
