The Random Stats Guy analyses the player ownership of the top ranked NRL Supercoach teams in Round 25
NRLAnalysing the NRL Supercoach ownership of players across the top teams heading into the last week of Supercoach.
To make life easier when identifying true ownership of NRL Supercoach players, each week we’ll break it down into ranking brackets.
Whether you’re chasing ranks, or playing it safe up top, it’ll help identify the best ways to try and achieve your Supercoach goals.
The tables below sets out the proportion of Supercoach teams in the top 1%, top 5%, top 10% and overall that own each player.
This season, there are over 150,000 Supercoach teams, so the top 1% would be roughly the top 1500 teams, top 5% is the top 7,500 teams and top 10% is top 15,000 teams.
Let’s take a look at the ownership of players heading into Round 25.
Fantasy NRL markets have arrived! Alongside our mates at BetBuzz, we’ve designed unique fantasy based markets pitting players together by position every round. Check them out here!

Reece Walsh is the 3rd most traded-in player by Supercoaches in the top 1%, after he stood up for the Broncos last week vs Dolphins.
He is an absolute rollercoaster ride with scores of 61, 134, 26 and 155 in his last 4 games, but when that ton hits, you want to be on him!
Most Supercoaches have gone to Walsh via Reuben Garrick.
Tom Trbojevic, and more so Manly, seems to be a burnt trade for some as he went from one of the popular trade-ins last week, to the most popular FLB trade out this week.
However, sticking by Turbo isn’t the worst decision. He has one of the match-ups of the round against the Dolphins who have conceded 129 points per game to fullbacks in their last 4 matches.
If you’re out of trades, it is going to be okay!

Another week, another popular CTW going down, with Reuben Garrick suffering a season-ending shoulder injury.
Among the leading replacements, includes Adam Doueihi (see 5/8s below), Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Taylan May.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is the 2nd most traded-in player for the top 1% last week.
Touched on RTS, in last week’s article talking about how he has a great draw to finish with Titans, Eels and Sea Eagles.
Taylan May could possibly be shortlisted for the Tigers’ player of the year with an impressive string of games since signing.
He can be forgiven for his 49 and 32 against the best defences in the league.
However, the real standouts have been against the bottom-ranked teams, with 90 vs Titans and 101 vs Manly.
Hurts me to say it, but the Cows are one of those “bottom-ranked” teams, and, bar the Raiders the next week, the Tigers play the Titans again to end the season.

Adam Douiehi is the most traded-in Supercoach player this week.
He has scored back-to-back tons since moving into the #7 jersey for the Tigers, scoring 2 tries and assisting 3 others.
He averages 60+ points against each of his last 3 opponents, so his status as the best CTW replacement for Garrick is justified!

Despite the Sharkies being on the bye, most Supercoaches are running with Nicho on the extended bench this week.
For those looking to get an edge in H2Hs, Sam Walker has been a popular trade-in ranked 5th overall this week.
Has a similar draw to Nicho, in the sense that both teams play a bottom 9 side and top 4 side on the road in the remaining games (Roosters v Storm, Sharks vs Dogs), but obviously Sammy has the upside of playing this week.

No major ownership changes in the 2RF column, with most putting out their Reuben Garrick fires by bringing in a CTW.

Not much movement for front-rowers this week either.
Naufahu Whyte is the 8th most traded-in overall, but only 9 Supercoaches in the top 1% have brought him in.

Harry Grant has risen to the most popular hooker option this week, with Blayke Brailey on the bye and Connor Watson playing limited minutes off the bench.
