EPL Supercoach Fixture Analysis | Trade Targets

Quantium data analyst Harry West analyses the upcoming fixtures for many popular trade in options in EPL Supercoach

EPL

Currently ranked 1016, which I can’t be unhappy with, but it’s been a slide from 244 after week one.

Made some questionable moves that have cost me – went against my better logic to bring in Ballard in GW2, traded my boy Diouf before GW3 and his 20-pointer, and benched Dewsbury-Hall’s 21-pointer for Ødegaard’s 1.

Very happy with my team value of £112.72m despite holding Palmer and Ballard.

Team value is my focus this time of year – these fixture runs create the price rises that matter come the business end of the season.

The Fixture Goldmine: Teams to Target

Leeds United

Fixtures: Fulham (A) → Wolves (A) → Bournemouth (H) → Tottenham (H) → Burnley (A) → West Ham (H)

Great start to the season with two clean sheets against Everton and Newcastle. The promoted side tag shouldn’t put you off when the fixtures are this kind.

Key Targets:

  • Rodon (£4.52m, 2 breakeven) – Might have got lucky fielding him last week, but the value is undeniable at this price
  • Stach (£5.43m, 0.83 xGI) – Strong attacking data without the goals or assists yet. Not an urgent buy, but I can see him doing well through this run

Tottenham

Fixtures: West Ham (A) → Brighton (A) → Wolves (H) → Leeds (A) → Aston Villa (H) → Everton (A)

Going from beating City to losing to Bournemouth – classic Spurs (sorry, Arsenal bias showing). But these fixtures could mask their inconsistencies perfectly.

Key Targets:

  • Richarlison (£6.52m, 6 breakeven) – Wish I had him, but with Solanke back soon, wouldn’t trade in or out right now
  • Porro (£9.35m, 11 breakeven) – Been very happy despite no attacking returns. Fair shout for any of their defenders
  • Xavi Simons (£6m) – Wait and see. Hasn’t played yet, but think he’ll be a baller once he gets minutes – give him a couple of appearances then jump on

Wolves

Fixtures: Newcastle (A) → Leeds (H) → Tottenham (A) → Brighton (H) → Sunderland (A) → Burnley (H)

Honestly? Skip this mess for now.

Maybe Consider:

  • Strand Larsen (£7.72m, 16 breakeven) – Once he drops in price and returns from injury. Surely he’s their only chance of survival
  • Agbadou (£6.11m, 7 breakeven) – Disappointing so far, could turn it around with these fixtures, but I want to see it first

Aston Villa

Fixtures: Everton (A) → Sunderland (A) → Fulham (H) → Burnley (H) → Tottenham (A) → Manchester City (H)

Three games, zero goals? Huge surprise for me. Note that City fixture ruins the party at the end.

Key Targets:

  • Watkins (£7.33m, 15 breakeven) – Could be a shout if they turn it around, but wait a week for his price to drop
  • Konsa (£5.49m, 15 breakeven) – My defensive pick from preseason still has potential, wait a week for his price to drop
  • Harvey Elliott (£3.9m) – Only played one fixture so you have time. Great signing and could be huge for Villa – potential downgrade play next week

Liverpool

Fixtures: Burnley (A) → Everton (H) → Crystal Palace (A) → Chelsea (A) → Manchester United (H) → Brentford (A)

When the league champions pick up all these players, it’s scary for the league. But rotation is very real.

Key Targets:

  • Salah (£13.71m, 31 breakeven) – Disappointing so far, but has captainable fixtures coming. Eyeing the right time to buy
  • Gakpo (£8.90m, 4 breakeven) – Decent option for a couple of weeks before he loses minutes
  • Ekitike (£7.67m, 10 breakeven) – Same story as Gakpo

Avoid: Isak (£11.61m) – Expect managed minutes despite the premium price.

Bournemouth

Fixtures: Brighton (H) → Newcastle (H) → Leeds (A) → Fulham (H) → Crystal Palace (A) → Nottingham Forest (H)

The Cherries aren’t glamorous, but they’re offering genuine value in the right spots.

Key Targets:

  • Senesi (£7.05m, -12 breakeven) – Is he a lock? Even without attacking points, scoring enough from tackles, clearances and interceptions. Feels like he’s picking up Huijsen’s points from last year. I want to buy
  • Semenyo (£9.73m, 17 breakeven) – Couldn’t blame you for buying. Not sure he’s value, but these fixtures could prove me very wrong

West Ham

Fixtures: Tottenham (H) → Crystal Palace (H) → Everton (A) → Arsenal (A) → Brentford (H) → Leeds (A)

So frustrating – worst team in the league for two weeks, then scoring three goals after the 84th minute against Forest.

Key Targets:

  • Diouf (£5.04m, -8 breakeven) – It’s my fault. Traded out my boy before his 20-pointer. Spoke about him non-stop in preseason and got scared after two performances. Don’t be me
  • Paqueta (£7.64m, -16 breakeven) – Worth a look. Won’t keep up the goals from last two weeks, but similar to Bruno, scores well across multiple categories

Fixture Nightmares: Steer Clear

Manchester United

Fixtures: Manchester City (A) → Chelsea (H) → Brentford (A) → Sunderland (H) → Liverpool (A) → Brighton (H)

City, Chelsea, and Liverpool in the next six? Even with their quality, these fixtures make United assets very difficult to justify.

Key Players:

  • Cunha (£9.72m, 20 breakeven) – Unlucky with the early injury, probably a trade given the injury and will be bleeding cash
  • Dorgu (£4.4m, 6 breakeven) – No minutes in GW3, maybe not as safe as people thought. Easy move to Senesi
  • Bruno (£10.78m, 14 breakeven) – I’d hold. Hopefully still on pens and has good underlying data. Take the highs with the lows

Brentford

Fixtures: Chelsea (H) → Fulham (A) → Manchester United (H) → Manchester City (H) → West Ham (A) → Liverpool (H)

Brutal run for the Bees. That’s four massive fixtures in six games – even their defensive organisation won’t help here.

Key Players:

  • Thiago (£5.37m, -2 breakeven) – Only player with significant ownership. I’m an owner and holding for the cash, but wouldn’t recommend trading him in

Everton

Fixtures: Aston Villa (H) → Liverpool (A) → West Ham (H) → Crystal Palace (H) → Manchester City (A) → Tottenham (H)

The Toffees face a nightmare sequence. Liverpool away and City away kill any appeal their defensive assets might have had.

Key Players:

  • Grealish (£6.49m, -21 breakeven) and Dewsbury-Hall (£5.4m, -7 breakeven) – Pretty happy with the double up, but maybe don’t expect this level of scoring to continue. Laugh all the way to the bank though
  • Wouldn’t be considering any others with these fixtures

Fulham

Fixtures: Leeds (H) → Brentford (H) → Aston Villa (A) → Bournemouth (A) → Arsenal (H) → Newcastle (A)

Mixed bag for Fulham, but that Arsenal fixture is a season-killer for any attacking assets you might be considering.

Key Players: No one of high ownership, ignore them for now. I do like King (£3.87m, 3 breakeven) – got robbed of a goal, but hard to prioritise with these fixtures.

Burnley

Fixtures: Liverpool (H) → Nottingham Forest (H) → Manchester City (A) → Aston Villa (A) → Leeds (H) → Wolves (A)

Opening with Liverpool at home then City away? The promoted side’s fixtures are absolutely brutal.

Key Players:

  • Anthony (£5.18m, -12 breakeven) – Fair play if you had him for his goals, not a buy for me but take the cash if you have him
  • Walker (£3.87m, 2 breakeven) – If you’re one of the 17% with him, it’s time to move on. Not with these fixtures and the leaky Burnley defence

My Current Trading Considerations

A few moves I’m weighing up this week:

  • Considering Ødegaard out, but not fully convinced on Paqueta, so maybe hold the trade
  • Really want Senesi, but who to ditch out of Porro, Cucurella, Calafiori, Rodon, and Ballard…
  • Have used 4 transfers already, so maybe time to save one

Sometimes the best trade is no trade – especially when you’re sitting on decent team value and the fixtures aren’t screaming urgent moves.
