The Blitz: NFL Supercoach, everything you need to know week 3

Injury watch, most traded, most captained, here's everything you need to know before NFL Supercoach week three

NFL

We are now two weeks into the NFL Supercoach season, and we are starting to face some of the consequences of our preseason decisions, both good and bad.

Many of the elite, proven, premium options have put up some big scores to start the season, proving they are worth the hefty price tags.

Personally, my goal is to get as many of these proven guns into my team as early in the season as possible.

How am I going to do that, you ask?

Through cash generation, which all experienced Supercoachers will know is vital for scoring well over the entire season.

I will explain more about how breakevens work below, but essentially, the lower a player’s breakeven, the more money they are set to make.

Cash generation strategies seemed quite straightforward when starting the season: stack as many under-value rookies into your team as possible!

Most Supercoach sides started the year with a good handful of rookies, hoping their raw talent would translate and that they would get off to a hot start to their NFL careers.

Although this has been the case for some, as expected, many rookies have struggled.

This leads many teams to face a similar dilemma this week: trade your underperforming rookies to other under-valued options, or hold strong, hoping performances improve?

I am personally looking to bring in some mid-range options that have started the season off on fire.

Although this could be seen as point-chasing, it is more the quick, guaranteed cash generation that I am chasing.

BREAKEVENS

Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.

They are calculated off a player’s average from their past three games.

It’s important to note that players prices will change for the first time after the completion of this round.

Therefore, if you want to get in on their first price rises, you must trade them into your team this week.
