The Blitz: NFL Supercoach, everything you need to know week 5

Injury watch, most traded, most captained, breakevens, here's everything you need to know before NFL Supercoach week five

NFL

The first month of NFL Supercoach is now behind us, and this past week saw Supercoach back to its high-scoring best!

Huge performances from many popular players saw most teams score upwards of 500.

Once agin the difference between a good and a great score came down to your captaincy decision of Lamar vs Allen.

The less popular captain option in Allen, triumphed this week with a 51, while Lamar posted an injury-affected 22.

There doesn’t seem to be any straightforward trade options this week, unless you don’t already own a gun like Nacua or CMC.

However, if Lamar Jackson is ruled out for a few weeks, the Supercoach world is set to come alive.

In need of a hand with disputes and litigation? Sasha Legal are your set-and-forget captain in the courtroom. No loopholes, just keepers. Reach out for your consultation here or hit them up on Instagram @sasha.legal.

Obviously I would never hope for someone to be injured, but from a purely Supercoach perspective, I am really excited for the differential this could bring to our game.

Sitting at 90% owned amongst teams in the top 10%, at a premium price tag, and with many of these teams having him in the flex position (or technically so anyway with 3 quarterbacks in their team), the replacement options are endless.

Additionally, byes have finally arrived in the NFL, which adds yet another factor to consider when making trades (check the webstie later this week for an article focusing on bye planning).

Breakevens should also be a consideration once again this week, with an abundance of cash cows still available, and some superstars expected to leak a lot of coin.

That being said, let’s get into The Blitz for week five.

BREAKEVENS

Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.

They are calculated off a player’s average from their past three games.

The lower the breakeven, the more cash-making potential.

The higher the breakeven, the higher the risk of cash loss.
