Supercoach veteran Eden Richards gives his trade plans, captains, and PODs ahead of NFL Supercoach Week 11
NFLIf you want an example of the highs and lows of Supercoach, look no further than the SC Playbook NFL Podcast.
The high-flying Josh Clutterbuck fell back down to Earth with a thud, finishing Week 10 with a disappointing 399.
On the other end of the spectrum was Jacob Funk, soaring high with a massive 653!!
I was somewhere in the middle, landing with a respectable 544 thanks to Jonathan Taylor’s heroics.

If you don’t have him in your team, then you simply must find a way to bring him in ASAP.
Unfortunately for us JT owners, the Colts have the bye this week…
That will leave a few of us looking for a new captain, as well as some reinforcements in the running back position.
Let’s get into my trade plans.

With Jordan Mason and Jacory Croskey-Merritt taking up space on my bench, I know I need to trade at least one of them out this week.
These two have been a disaster for me, leaking cash and putting up stinky scores from the get-go.
I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to trade them, and I’m beginning to get desperate, but the main problem I’m facing is that I’m also running low on trades…
I head into Week 11 with just eight trades to my name, so I need to make sure I’m making the right decisions as I move into the business end of the season.
For that reason, I’ll be making just the one trade this week, and that is Jordan Mason to TreVeyon Henderson.

The Patriots have a history of splitting carries and having a bit of a murky backfield, but things are beginning to look increasingly positive for Henderson.
His 147 yards and two touchdowns last week showed he is the best running back in New England, and I believe the Patriots are now facing a similar situation to Carolina, where Rico Dowdle took the starting role off Chuba Hubbard.
The Panthers couldn’t ignore Dowdle following a string of impressive performances, and Henderson can make the same impression against a leaky Jets defence on Friday.
His biggest competition will miss the match, with Rhamondre Stevenson succumbing to a toe injury.
This is great news for Henderson owners, with his -32 breakeven ensuring he will make plenty of cash this week.
He’s only $7,970,000, so he is very affordable, but that price won’t last if he puts up some big numbers against the struggling Jets.
I expect him to do just that, and with that, officially become the RB1 at the Patriots.
This is the week to get him, and he will be going straight into my starting line-up.

I won’t be able to do that this week, so instead I’ll be going with Josh Allen.
The Bills have been hot and cold all year, beating the Chiefs one week and then losing to Miami the next.
They’re a hard team to get a read on, but we’ve come to expect the best from Josh Allen when the pressure is on, so I’ll be backing him in this weekend.
My contingency plan will be Drake Maye, who luckily plays the Friday and is the perfect VC option.
Maye plays a horrible Jets team in primetime, and the MVP favourite should have a field day against their divisional rivals.
If he scores 50+, I will be looping him and not having to worry about Allen, and as a Pats fan, I hope that’s the case!

I touched on Dowdle earlier, and I still believe he is underpriced.
Don’t be fooled by his 26.9 average, as this has been heavily influenced by his reduced role earlier in the season.
He’s now RB1 in Carolina, and he’s put together scores of 61, 63, 54, and 27 while starting at the Panthers.
Despite starting minimal games this season, he’s still ranked 3rd in the NFL for rushing yards.
This shows how damaging he is, and he has a great match-up this week against a Falcons defence that has allowed a league-high eight touchdowns and the most points per game to running backs since Week 7.
Despite all this, he’s owned by only 2.5% of coaches, making him a great POD option for the run home.

Another running back around the $17 million mark that’s under-owned is Kyren Williams.
His five-week average of 35 makes him the 6th-best running back in Supercoach during that period, and he could be a great option for the run home if you can’t afford one of the top-priced guns.
Over the past five weeks, he’s only scored under 31 points once, and he continues to find the end zone, scoring four touchdowns in that period.
While I’d still lean towards Dowdle, Williams looms as a key POD at just 2.9% ownership.
