Niko’s Supercoach EPL Watchlist | Round 13

Supercoach and EPL expert Niko, reveals who to watch, buy, hold and sell ahead of Supercoach EPL Round 13

EPL

I almost had decision paralysis trying to work out what to do with the money invested in Gabriel last week.

I made a last-minute call to use all three available trades to me, and I didn’t even do the trade I planned in last week’s article.

Gabriel, Petrovic, and Outtara made way for Raya, Rice (C), and Tarkowski.

In the end, I scored a respectable 108, which takes me to rank #726 overall, so happy enough, but I did flirt with Munoz VC, which is disappointing.

I’m also comfortable with the Arsenal investment for the future, as it took a worldie to wipe the clean sheet, and they look incredibly solid all-round.

From here on, you’ll see me concentrate very heavily on fixtures and flipping premiums based on that, not money lost or gained.

I’m happy with my side and consider it a full premium, no matter what the price next to their name is.

A crazy time is ahead with the festive season, and lockouts are coming thick and fast.  Be ready!

Buy

Harvey Barnes (£6.90M, Newcastle MID, B/E -23)

He did catch my eye at close to bargain basement last week, and he bangs in 28 points.

The main appeal was Gordon being out, but he’s back now, and I expect rotation to occur between him, Olanga, Murphy, and Willock.

Eberechi Eze (£11.27M, Arsenal MID, B/E -13)

If you need a MID and it fits your budget constraints, sure, go for it.

I don’t, so I’ll be letting him go, especially since you don’t get last week’s points, and Ødegaard is not far off returning.

Rúben Dias (£9.31M, Manchester City DEF, B/E -3)

He seems nailed and, as we saw on the weekend, can score.

I’m still not overly sold on City outside of Haaland, but the fixtures are there to turn things around quickly.

James Tarkowski (£8.03M, Everton DEF, B/E -2)

I feel like we are starting to see the second-half season resurgence from the Toffees a tad earlier than normal.

Liked what I saw on the weekend and expect them to start cleaning more often.

I’m happy with the captain who won’t get rotated and is a goal risk from set pieces.

Morgan Rogers (£6,170,000, Aston Villa FWD, B/E -1)

Still has a minus score in his three-week cycle, so if he goes big again against Wolves (why not), he would become a valuable cash play.

Considering him as a replacement for João Pedro.

Jérémy Doku (£8.60M, Manchester City FWD, B/E -1)

Leeds at home and we’ll see the teams before the first lockout.

If he’s in the starting XI, he becomes another serious option to replace João Pedro.

City, coming off two losses in a row, could do anything in this fixture.

Daniel Muñoz (£12.16M, Crystal Palace DEF, B/E 2)

Quickly becoming a must-have player, and as previously mentioned, he’s playing basically as a winger.

Goals and assists should continue, with the odd clean sheet.

Perfect recipe.

Kevin Schade (£7.81M, Brentford FWD, B/E 7)

If you cannot afford Thiago (I can’t), I’d be considering this guy due to this week’s home fixture with Burnley.

You can also bench away to Arsenal and play him against Tottenham, Leeds, and Wolves.

Yankuba Minteh (£10.72M, Brighton MID, B/E 10)

Just continue to do the business.

Six double-figure scores in twelve and no Europe rotations or AFCON to think about since Gambia missed out.

Hold / Watch

Murillo (£7.48M, Nottingham Forest DEF, B/E -14)

Some massive scores from the whole Forest defence with their huge win over Liverpool (seriously, what the bloody hell is going on over there).

I’m not sure if I would expect those scores again, but they are starting to trend in the right direction as a team.

Not buying, same goes for any teammate.

Callum Wilson (£6.62M, West Ham FWD, B/E -12)

I’m starting to think Liverpool is a green fixture…  but I’ll opt to keep and start Bowen over him.

Condensed fixtures and Callum Wilson don’t really go well together.

Yéremy Pino (£4.18M, Crystal Palace FWD, B/E -4)

Not really considering due to the minutes risk and the fact he did ultra well against Wolves, who are the bottom side.

Jurriën Timber (£9.64M, Arsenal DEF, B/E 13)

He looks to be the main man replacing Gabriel and should continue to score very well.

I’d hold off until after Chelsea, though.

Moisés Caicedo (£8.90M, Chelsea MID, B/E 3)

I feel like he’s had his rest and would hold at this point with a low breakeven and Leeds after Arsenal.

Rotation is always going to be an issue at Chelsea, but I doubt he’s been dropped or anything.

Sell

Reece James (£9.83M, Chelsea DEF, B/E 25)

I spoke early about Callum Wilson and condensed fixtures, the same applies here.  Sell.

Casemiro (£9.88M, Manchester United MID, B/E 24)

The cash play has ended, as has United’s form perhaps.

Perfect time to sell.

Diego Gómez (£9.95M, Brighton MID, B/E 17)

Disappointing negative score for owners this week, and now firmly on the chopping block.

He’s at a price where you could/should bring in a long-term player i.e., his teammate Mintah.

João Pedro (£8.75M, Chelsea FWD, B/E 11)

I’ve had enough of watching him swan around and do sweet fa.

I’m very happy to hold Enzo and Cucurella over him for the Leeds fixture.
