Supercoach and EPL expert Niko, reveals who to watch, buy, hold and sell ahead of Supercoach EPL Round 14
EPLAfter a little bit of chaos with the Mo Salah benching, I scraped together a score of 85 for GW13, which saw the rank drop slightly to 779.
Unfortunately, another week, another failed captain choice. ‘
It’s time for a bounce back, a big one, but with no loop player available, I’ve only got one shot at the captain.
It’s also time to let go of my Hammers player fetish.

Really evolving as a world-class player at only 24 years of age.
The German is seriously raising the bar at every outing.
Could I be biased as a Toon fan? Sure.
Could he get rested? Sure, but I think he oozes quality.
Lewis Hall and Dan Burn are also options.
Maxim De Cuyper (£5.48M, Brighton DEF, B/E -11)
He’s starting to flourish in the league, and it’s what many expected from the outing.
If you are looking to replace Senesi, etc, you could do much worse.
He’s playing out of position in an attacking role.

Speaking of starting to flourish, this guy looked back to his best, and with Pep wanting to stop the heavy reliance on Haaland seems like a safe long-term play.
I’m still a bit wary of City and their form; something is not clicking, but the fixtures are great to make that click happen.
Cody Gakpo (£7.59M, Liverpool FWD, B/E -3)
I went with him in FPL and wish I had doubled up in this format.
The fixtures are great, and with Mo on the outer for the time being, his minutes look great too.

Woltemessi is another quality signing for my Toon and showed his quality again with his calm dink over Pickford.
Wissa is on the mend, but he’ll be at AFCON soon, so there’s not much issue with rotation outside of perhaps Gordon.
Florian Wirtz (£3.90M, Liverpool MID, B/E 4)
This seems crazy, but others are coming good… Bargain bin, and if you need bench cover, he’s ok, and you never know, might start doing stuff.

He’s just class and so is his team.
He’s on penalties and will play most minutes.
Set and forget type stuff at a good price.
Jurriën Timber (£9.07M, Arsenal DEF, B/E 8)
Much like Saka, he’s just a good pick with a heap of attacking threat to boot.

If I owned, I would hold until AFCON and even put the captain armband on him this week vs West Ham.
João Pedro (£8.06M, Chelsea FWD, B/E 20)
One more week for owners before he’s banished to the shadow realm.
Cole Palmer (£11.45M, Chelsea MID, B/E 18)
I’m sure he’ll get some minutes midweek, but he’s a wait and see proposition in my eyes, instead of jumping back in.
We all know his talents and qualities, but why rush with his high breakeven and risk of re-injuring himself or playing 20 minutes?
Embed from Getty ImagesEnzo Fernández (£9.62M, Chelsea MID, B/E 2)
Good matchup this week and a low breakeven, so there’s no reason to sell.
William Saliba (£6.64M, Arsenal DEF, B/E 13)
Out with a knock on the weekend and should hopefully be ok for the matchup with Brentford, who may have Thiago out.
Enzo Le Fée (£8.18M, Sunderland MID, B/E -6)
On penalties, and seems to have cemented his spot back in the team.
Liverpool, Man City, and Newcastle are not great fixtures, however, so an avoid for mine.

What an idiot, a shambolic red card. Get rid.
Moisés Caicedo (£8.26M, Chelsea MID, B/E 21)
Unavailable due to his red card, and with the high breakeven, there is no reason to hold unless you have great cover and love him.

I’m not sure how long he’ll be kept out of the eleven, and to be honest, I was very surprised he was unused on the weekend, as it seemed a great fixture to build some confidence.
Perhaps there’s a little injury, or he’s just old and washed, and the manager wants to play a different formation; either way, he should be high on your trade-out priority lists.
Marcos Senesi (£7.12M, Bournemouth DEF, B/E 4)
I know others have said buy recently, but I’m off the Cherries.
11 conceded in the last four says is enough for me.

OUT: Jarrod Bowen
IN: Phil Foden
Bank: £70k
Trades: 20 and 2 boosts (a bit too low for my liking)
VC: Erling Haaland
C: Bruno Fernandes
