Eden Richards
NFL Fantasy and Supercoach veteran
Supercoach veteran Eden Richards gives his trade plans, captains, and PODs ahead of NFL Supercoach Week 14
NFLAfter a brief reprieve last weekend, we’re once again feeling the effects of a brutal bye schedule.
The Patriots, Panthers, 49ers, and Giants all have the week off, leaving plenty of coaches scrambling to field a full side in Week 14.
I am certainly one of them, with the likes of Drake Maye, the Pats D, CMC, and Tet McMillan all not playing this week.
It means I’ll be using two trades, reducing my total number of trades left to just two… Not ideal.

I’ve had a good few weeks, and this week’s trades are necessary if I’m to keep climbing up the leaderboard.
I’m now on the verge of the top 1,500, and I can’t afford to sit on my hands and not field a full team.
We’re at the stage of the season where a couple of smart trades could see you rocket up the leaderboard, but you have to get them right.
For me, I’ll be looking at boosting my WR stocks, grabbing a keeper for the run home.
That man is A.J. Brown.

Brown has woken up.
I’m not sure if he’s just decided to finally try or if the Eagles have finally realised he’s their best receiver, but whatever it is, it’s working.
In the past three weeks, he has 25 catches (2nd among WRs), 291 receiving yards (4th among WRs), three touchdowns (3rd among WRs), and 118 Supercoach points (2nd among WRs).
The numbers don’t lie.
He is airborne and very gettable at $15,260,000.
This will be the week to get him, with his BE of -22, meaning he will skyrocket in price after hopefully another big score this weekend.

McMillan has been a great story this year, rising in price by $10.3 million and putting up consistent scores each week.
He’s been one of the best cheapies all year, but now is the time to sell.
He has the bye this week, and he also has a BE of 36, meaning he may begin to drop in value once he returns.
The other player I’ll be trading out is Treveyon Henderson.
The Pats RB is also on a bye this week, and his BE has jumped up to 48 following a disappointing 19 last week.
He’s risen $12.3 million in value, but like McMillan, he has peaked.
Embed from Getty ImagesIt’s time to say goodbye before he starts losing money, and I’ll be doing a straight swap for Derrick Henry.
Henry had a slow start to the year, but he has come good, averaging 37.3 over the past three weeks.
Only five RBs have a better average during that period, and I already own four of them.
It means I’m stacked at RB and have great depth for the run home.
Embed from Getty ImagesI was bullish on Josh Allen last week, and while he didn’t quite hit the heights I would have liked, I saw enough to keep the C on him this week.
He faces a putrid Cincinnati defence that ranks last in the NFL with an average of 410 yards allowed per game.
As well as this, the game should be a shoot-out.
Joe Burrow is back and firing for the Bengals, so hopefully we see plenty of points on Monday morning.
This week actually works out perfectly for captaincy options, with Jahmyr Gibbs playing on Friday and thus becoming a perfect looping option.
I think we will see a lot of coaches putting the VC on Gibbs, hoping he scores well in what should be a high-scoring encounter between Dallas and Detroit.
I know that’s what I’ll be doing, and if he scores 60+, I’ll definitely be looping him in as captain and locking in the points nice and early.

I’ve mentioned Jameson Williams a few times in this column, and I am once again making a case for the Lions WR.
He’s owned by only 1.6% of coaches, and that makes him a great POD for the run home.
Yes, he had a duck egg a couple of weeks ago, but if you ignore that outlier, he is arguably the form receiver of the NFL.
His three-week average of 40.3 is the third highest in Supercoach for a WR, only bettered by the injured Drake London and the high-flying George Pickens.
At $16,540,000, he is still affordable, and there’s a very high possibility he goes big this week.
With a BE of 7, this is the week to buy him for the run home.
