NFLThe final week of the inaugural SuperCoach season is upon us and what a year it’s been!
Plenty of learnings have been had during this season but that’s for a future article.
This week we have plenty of people in contention for top 100 spots and I’m here to tell you who you need in this final week to get the best possible score.
I unfortunately had the wheels fall off the machine that is Clutzy’s Patriots weeks ago and have been battling to stay around the top 2000.
A score of 466 saw me drop down in the rankings to 2,175 and that’s no thanks to Rice, Adams and McCarthy not playing.

Bijan and CMC led the team well this week with scores of over 50. McBride redeemed himself with a healthy 37 and surprise packet Fannin Jr. put up a score of 20 continuing his run of good scoring games with the Shedeur under centre for the Browns.
Receivers were fairly average for me this week outside of Chase who scored 43.
Allen at captain was serviceable with 45, however most of those points came at the end of the game against a tough Philly Defence.
I’m thankful I didn’t end up going with Puka as captain or else I would’ve fallen even further down the leaderboard.
Let’s dive in and see who you need in your team to maximise your points in the final week of NFL SuperCoach for the 25/26 season!

Last week I had him ranked as my number 3 QB behind Stafford and Lawrence for the run home and I’ve been left with egg on my face. Maye dismantled the Jets in the first half of the game more than he’s done with any other team this season.
His 64 points was a season high for him and he’s all but cemented himself as the leagues MVP. The Dolphins come to Foxborough this weekend and typically don’t perform well in the snow.
With the number 1 seed still on the line, Maye will look to play similar to last weekend and destroy the Phins in the first half. Maye should score around the 40-50 point mark at a minimum.
Matthew Stafford ($24.1m, LA Rams QB, 39 BE, 5% ownership)
Despite his disappointing MVP derailing game last week, Stafford still managed to score 31 points in a loss to the Falcons.
This week he comes up against the Cardinals who as always are in all sorts. With the playoffs a week away, expect Stafford to come out firing to prove the doubters that last week was an anomaly.
Stafford should look to link with Puka a lot this week which should be bulk points for both players. Just a few weeks back he scored 46 points against the Cardinals. It is a rivalry game which should get him up even more and have coaches confident he scores well.
Derrick Henry ($19.59m, Baltimore Ravens RB, -30 Be, 14% ownership)
This week’s must have guy. The Ravens playoff aspirations ride on the play of Henry.
Lamar should be back but coach Harbaugh should now know what the blueprint for his offence is. After not playing him for the final 12 minutes against the Patriots and ultimately losing the game, Harbaugh gave Henry the ball 36 times for 216 yards and 4 TD’s at 6 yards per carry.
Insane numbers against a Packers team that’s going to the playoffs. In a rivalry game against arguably their biggest rivals the Steelers, Henry has every chance of rushing for more than 100 yards and 2 TD’s again. Baltimore well and truly have their guy back and look for them to utilise him for the entire game this week.

With Olave being out for the final game many of you will be looking for a receiver who can put up similar numbers.
Enter Wilson the man who has thrived under Brisset and with Harrison Jr. missing for most of the second half of the season.
Week 11 was the first week Wilson was thrust into WR1 duties after MHJ’s injury and he put up 52 points against the 49ers.
Since then his lowest score was 10 against the Bucs otherwise all his scores have been in the 20’s and 30’s with one 63 point game against the team he faces this weekend d the Rams.
With MHJ officially out of the last game Wilson is set for another big day against the Rams leaky defence. In draft leagues, Michael Wilson is ranked as the WR3 since week 11 and has finished as a top 10 WR in 4 of his last 7 games.
George Kittle ($15.91m, San Fran 49ers, 7 BE, 14% ownership)
Kittle could be a real difference maker this week and put up top end WR numbers.
The 49ers have a difficult matchup against the Seahawks this weekend however they also had a tough match against the Bears last week in which they scored 42 points.
The winner of this matchup gets the number 1 seed and it’s a home game for the 49ers. Purdy has been on a tear in recent weeks and now has his safety blanket Kittle back.
Kittle is a prime candidate for over 80 receiving yards and 5 catches for at least 1 touchdown. The 49ers are my favourite to win the Super Bowl this year and they’ll look to build on that status through the play of Kittle alongside Purdy and CMC.
Embed from Getty ImagesThere are so many players who have been put on IR or are just missing the last week of the season due to injuries. Notable players who are on IR/ aren’t playing that a lot of teams own are:
Many of these players have appeared on the buy list this week so make sure you aren’t bringing them in! As well as a few of these guys there are a few others who are on the sell list that you will need to make some tough decisions on.
All I’ll say is if you own any of the above players I’d be prioritising getting rid of them so you have a full roster playing this weekend. If you don’t or you’ve got enough trades to make some extra moves then look at moving on these below players.
De’Von Achane ($19.47m, Miami Dolphins RB, 50 BE, 16% ownership)
Bit of a tough/harsh call to get rid of him but Achane is a bit banged up and is doubtful to play this week.
Even if he does the Dolphins will most likely not want to risk their premier RB in a meaningless games for them.
Achane has been great the last few weeks outside of a 24 he scored last week, but in the final week you want the guys who are going to score you the most points obviously and I don’t think Achane is a candidate for that.
The one thing that is going for him is New England’s Run defence has given up at least 100 yards rushing in the last 7 games.
They are expecting to have back Milton Williams and possibly Tonga in the middle to sure up the trenches as well as MLB and stout run defender Bobby Spillane.
Embed from Getty ImagesJonathan Taylor ($17.89m, Indy Colts RB, 36 BE, 31% ownership)
At one point this year he was the MVP front runner. With poor QB play and injuries all around him, Taylor has suffered immensely.
He still has been scoring okay but since his 95 point game against the Falcons his highest score has been 31 last week against the Jags.
Going into Houston, a team who is on a hot streak and looking to cement themselves as Super Bowl contenders, Taylor will be looking at his toughest game on the season by far.
In a home game in week 13 he scored 27 points against the Texans which gives some cause for hope however when you’ve got people like Henry tearing up and scoring bulk points I’d much rather swap and be an owner of what’s hot now.
Drake London ($16.34m, Atlanta Falcons WR, 80 BE, 15% ownership)
When Penix was playing London was a must start player with huge, huge upside.
Now with Kirk Cousins at the helm it’s tough to play London. He scored a whopping total of 1 point in the huge upset win over the Rams last week.
Bijan Robinson is the focal point of the Falcons offense and the way they will win going forward. With still so many people owning London and this being a do or die week, I’d be looking at moving from London to other players like Michael Wilson, Nico Collins or even Ceedee Lamb.
Josh Allen ($24.98m, Buffalo Bills QB, 78 BE, 48% ownership)
Why he’s on this list again is beyond me. Yes he is carrying an injury however he’s going into a game against the Jets who just surrendered 64 SuperCoach points to Drake Maye.
The Bills are in win now mode and this is their best chance to make to to the Super Bowl yet.
How do you get there? Win and build momentum. Allen is an absolute dawg and will do everything he can to win. Last week was the least amount of points he’s scored at home this year in a SuperCoach sense at 45.
He’s now going up against a worse team it just makes sense that he’ll score big. He’s the number 1 player this season in SuperCoach and should remain there, keep him in your team.
Jahmyr Gibbs ($21.32m, Detroit Lions QB, 71 BE, 28% ownership)
The last few weeks haven’t looked great for Gibbs and the Lions. A tough run of games has seen him average only 20 over the last 3 weeks.
I have optimism after seeing that CMC did against the Bears defence last week. Goff has the tools to play well against the Bears and hopefully can get the ball to his star RB.
Gibbs is the big boom or bust player you want to go off for your team in the last week and I have all faith in him and the Lions to score a lot of points through Gibbs. CMC scored 52 against the same defence lets hope and pray that he can score 60 this week!
Embed from Getty ImagesOnce again no trades for me but if I was making trades I’d be going the tough call of getting rid of JT and replacing him with Derrick Henry this week.
If you’re unsure on who to start and have 2 trades left then bring in Henry and get rid of someone for a RB that won’t play and start that player with your 2 guys you’re choosing between on the bench, you’ll get the best score out of the 2 of them.
I’d also be looking at bringing in Wilson or Collins for coverage this week of I’m an Olave or Rice owner
Captaincy this week I’ve got the VC on CMC in the early game against the seahawks and the C on Josh Allen in a home game against the Jets.
Unless CMC scores 60 I won’t be looping him as Allen has such a good scoring upside
Best of luck this week in the final round of regular season games. Hopefully this has given you guys a bit of help throughout the season and we’ll see you next season!
