Murray, Barnes, SGA, MPJ, Mitchell, Cade, Murphy and Powell all missed games this week.

You know who didn’t miss any games? Kawhi Leonard and Zion Williamson.

Go figure.

It was a solid bounce back for ‘The Closers’ with a score of 1,051, moving us up to 512 overall.

We are also into the last 128 of the SC Cup.

Tyrese Maxey continues to dominate, leading all scorers for the week with 125. I’ve already whinged enough in the chats about my last-minute decision not to captain, moving on.

Kawhi Leonard rewarded those who took the punt by playing all 4 games, including a back-to-back. He knocked out the second-highest score with 119.

Anthony Edwards, Paolo Banchero and KAT were fairly disappointing, with an argument to be made to sell all three.

Amen Thompson vs KD was a big conversation all week and ended 117 Vs 116.

A win for those who took the value on the former.

A note to keep an eye on when the Chicago Vs Miami Heat game will be re-scheduled as this will add a game to that particular week for these teams.

Guns

Wemby, Avdija and Jalen Johnson all did their job posting the 5th, 7th and 8th highest scores respectively. 

Avdija has 4 games this week however both Wemby and JJ just have the 3.

I’ll be holding the way each is scoring, except for Avdija who suffered a back injury that has him in major doubt to play the next game.

Luka Doncic will be the most traded in player this week as the Lakers become the first team to play 5 games this season.

There are two back-to-backs, but even if Luka rests one game, you still take 4 all the way to the bank.

No other Lakers players interest me.

LeBron will not play all 5. Avoid.

Giannis was impressive in his 3 games, but is a sell with just 2 games this week.

SGA has 3 games this week, then 4 next, making him a hold in my opinion.

Maxey also plays 3 games this week but then rolls into 4, 4, 4, 5. Hold.

Cade Cunningham is injured and Detroit has a 2 game week.

An easy sell to Luka for owners.

Midrange

A tricky week for mid-range owners with Mitchell, Edwards, Brown, KAT, Steph, Leonard and Chet all on 3 game weeks.

Banchero and Black have a 2-game week.

Murray, Durant, Thompson, Barnes and George remain strong options.

The return of Sengun will pique the interest of coaches, however, I would be cautious with calf injuries known to flare.

Zion Williamson and Trey Murphy are on my radar, but once again I’m not sure I could take the risk on either.

Cheapies

In the absence of Jakob Poetl, Collin Murray-Boyles has been a revelation.

111 this week ensures a massive price rise and he remains a strong buy this week.

Zeke Nnaji and Jalen Pickett are seeing minutes due to the Nuggets injury woes.

I’d probably lean towards Nnaji out of the two.

Caleb Love seems to have locked down a role in Portland and remains good value.

PODs and Super PODs

POD: Lauri Markkenen UTA – 6.2% owned

Started the season on fire. After some extremely concerning results, Utah will need his offense more than ever.

Probably the last opportunity to own before we hit tanking season.

POD: Zion Williamson NOP – 3.7% owned

Has earned the trust of coaches after playing in two back-to-backs in the last month.

I’m so close to going there.

Super POD’s 

Super POD: LaMelo Ball (CHA) – 1.0% owned

Both Melo and Charlotte have been playing great basketball.

This could be the week.

Super POD: Donovan Clingan (POR) – 0.7% owned

The Portland big man is starting to put up some consistent numbers.

Not for me, but could be a left field option in a difficult week.
