Niko’s Supercoach EPL Watchlist | Gameweek 28

Supercoach and EPL expert Niko, reveals who to watch, buy, hold and sell ahead of Supercoach EPL Gameweek 28

EPL

Pretty ordinary week with a 94, but I obviously wasn’t alone as I went up in rank.

Not ideal having Hall (18) and Mac Allister (20) on the bench, but I never really considered starting them.

At least their cash gen gets a boost, which could come in handy later.

I continue to have 6 players from Arsenal, Man City, Palace, and Wolves’ blank GW31.

Let’s see if I should start getting that number down so I can field a strong XI.

Nico O’Reilly (£8.79M, Manchester City MID, B/E -16)

Played a more central and attacking role and smashed it with two goals and 26 points.

The fixtures up until their blank are great, it’s just whether or not you can afford him to miss GW31.

Virgil van Dijk (£10.45M, Liverpool DEF, B/E -9)

Another good score with West Ham and Wolves next.

Their defensive stats are starting to see clean sheets, and I fancy Liverpool to finish the season strongly and finish in the top 4.

Dan Burn (£3.70M, Newcastle DEF, B/E 1)

Best to alternate rather than relying on him every week, as the fixtures are hit and miss, but he’s a good, cheap option.

It appears the Toon have turned a corner and were unlucky not to get a point away to City.

Dominik Szoboszlai (£10.91M, Liverpool MID, B/E 8)

Played RB but still scored 10 points without any clean sheet bonus.

He’s just a good pick, Frimpong back soon, and he plays GW31.

Harry Wilson (£8.46M, Fulham MID, B/E 9)

Fixtures and form are good, and he plays in GW31.

Igor Thiago (£8.72M, Brentford FWD, B/E 14)

I still think he’s a good option purely for the fixtures and the fact that he’s on penalties.

Jury is starting to come out, though.

Hold / Watch

Eberechi Eze (£5.11M, Arsenal MID, B/E -9)

He won’t play Tottenham every week, and most likely won’t start every week either.

232 managers have brought him in, and it feels like a trap, like earlier in the season.

Maxence Lacroix (£7.04M, Crystal Palace DEF, B/E 1)

Back from injury with a low breakeven, I’d hold and then plan further closer to the blank.

Bukayo Saka (£8.83M, Arsenal MID, B/E 6)

Very unlucky to not score more in the NL derby, robbed of an assist because it flicked a defender’s toe.

Back to his traditional RW spot with Eze coming in.

Limped off, yet again, but seems to be fine.

Jarrod Bowen (£10.26M, West Ham MID, B/E 9)

I don’t love that he’s not playing up front anymore, but he remains on penalties.

I’ll be happy to play him as required, or to cover an injury/suspension.

Benching this week.

James Tarkowski (£7.16M, Everton DEF, B/E 11)

It’s been an ordinary 5-week stretch, and the fixtures aren’t great to finish the season.

I’ll be benching him and starting him the following GW against Burnley at home.

Daniel Muñoz (£9.18M, Crystal Palace DEF, B/E 11)

108 managers have brought him in, which is strange to me.

He’s playing more defensively than usual, Palace aren’t playing well, and he blanks in GW31.

Declan Rice (£10.11M, Arsenal MID, B/E 13)

Has frustrated with only one double-digit return in the past six, but I don’t think there’s any rush to sell him with five of the next seven at home.

Cole Palmer (£14.80M, Chelsea MID, B/E 15)

He plays in GW31, so I’ll be holding him until at least then.

Benching him this week, too.

Sell

Enzo Fernández (£9.55M, Chelsea MID, B/E 17)

Palmer is playing, so he’s not on penalties, and the form has dried up.

I’d be looking to sell him to someone in form, with better fixtures, which shouldn’t be hard to find.

David Raya (£5.76M, Arsenal GKP, B/E 13)

They keep conceding silly goals, so I don’t mind this trade-out in preparation for GW31.

Jurriën Timber (£6.63M, Arsenal DEF, B/E 8)

Hooked on 57 minutes, after he picked up an early yellow card.

I think he’s fine to sell.
