Niko’s Supercoach EPL Watchlist | Gameweek 30

Supercoach and EPL expert Niko, reveals who to watch, buy, hold and sell ahead of Supercoach EPL Gameweek 30

EPL

My luck changed!

A big 165 score in GW28 saw me climb up 113 spots to overall rank 161.

The VC on Tarkowski (23) worked a treat, but I had to use a trade to take it.

Harry Wilson came in for Declan Rice, which should help for blank GW31 & 34 as well, provided he overcomes the ankle injury in time.

Timber, Gabriel, and Raya came in with the clean sheet, even Saka did something, and holding Palmer was the right call.

It all seemed to come up Milhouse.

We now move our attention to GW30 and, more importantly, planning for blank GW31.

Word of warning, I’d only look to trade this week if you had to, or there’s something so obvious you couldn’t not do it.

At the time of writing, a staggering 5 of the top 10 players transferred in have a blank next gameweek…

Buy

João Pedro (£12.15M, Chelsea FWD, B/E -6)

If money is no issue, you could back the Brazilian whilst he’s in hot form.

Newcastle at home is nothing scary either, in fact, it’s a good fixture, but I’m still wary of him, and the fixtures aren’t brilliant for the run home.

Daniel Ballard (£6.96M, Sunderland DEF, B/E -4)

The black cats seem to be struggling a little, but Brighton this week and confirmed fixtures in GW31 against Newcastle and GW34 with Forest make him an attractive buy.

Hugo Ekitike (£9.95M, Liverpool FWD, B/E -3)

I feel like my weekly hopes depend on this guy failing, but I don’t see it happening against a hapless Spurs outfit, at home.

Kevin Schade (£5.85M, Brentford MID, B/E 2)

Back from injury, and I think he’s a good buy.

Wolves at home this week and play GW31 & 34.

Alex Iwobi (£10.94M, Fulham MID, B/E 5)

Fulham play Burnley in GW31 and definitely play GW34 against Villa, so their assets are valuable.

I prefer Harry Wilson if fit, but would take this guy next over Raúl Jiménez, who will have minutes chopped with Muniz back fit.

Hold / Watch

Micky van de Ven (£3.74M, Tottenham DEF, B/E 18)

After Liverpool, they have a great fixture run home and play both blank weeks.

No point in selling him so low, but over 100 people currently have.

I expect Spurs to find some pride shortly and find a way to stay up.

Matty Cash (£7.00M, Aston Villa DEF, B/E 17)

Injured and substituted at halftime in the heavy Chelsea loss.

Reports seem to suggest it was minor and should be ok.

Watch the team news, but I would hold as they play West Ham at home in GW31.

Erling Haaland (£10.66M, Manchester City FWD, B/E 14)

The most traded out player this week.

I’m holding unless he’s out or benched again.

Still in the title hunt and West Ham away screams points.

Antoine Semenyo (£10.26M, Manchester City FWD, B/E 3)

Maybe switch to him if Haaland is benched, but it’s blank and then Chelsea and Arsenal.

James Tarkowski (£8.12M, Everton DEF, B/E -6)

I know his breakeven is low, but why would you trade him in with Arsenal and Chelsea next?

Sell

Viktor Gyökeres (£7.44M, Arsenal FWD, B/E 20)

Sell now before the blank and whilst there’s value in him.

There are so many good options if you have some coin in the bank.

If not, Salah is cheaper, or you could even take a punt on a Gordon type.

Ryan Gravenberch (£7.80M, Liverpool MID, B/E 12)

Hooked at the half whilst on a yellow in the loss to Wolves.

Has played all the games since suggesting it was purely tactical, but there are better options, such as his teammate Szoboszlai.
