Supercoach and EPL expert Niko, reveals who to watch, buy, hold and sell ahead of Supercoach EPL Gameweek 31
EPLBang on 100 for me in a nothing week, dropping me 18 ranks to overall 179.
The good were Arsenal’s clean sheet, Bowen’s assist, and Bruno F with two assists.
The bad was captaining Haaland, Timber’s injury and both Saka and Rogers not doing much as usual.
But we move forward, and the much-talked-about blank is finally here.
Man City, Arsenal, Wolves, and Crystal Palace all miss this weekend.
Hopefully, you’ve planned well and only need to make a few changes, but be mindful that trades are still like gold coming into another blank in GW34 where only 4 fixtures are currently guaranteed.

Michael Kayode (£5.93M, Brentford DEF, B/E -12)
His own goal score of -2 drops out this week hence the very low breakeven.
Also coming off a game where he scored against Wolves, he seems a good option to bring him with Leeds, Everton and Fulham up next.
Yankuba Minteh (£4.89M, Brighton MID, B/E -11)
Back in the starting lineup and on the scoresheet.
We know how well he was going at the start of the season and he’s dirt cheap.
Fixtures are good overall as well but just be mindful it’s likely Brighton blank in GW34.

Seems to be favoured in the number 9 role now and on penalties, which could come to the fore in the derby this weekend.
Personally, he’s burnt me this season so unlikely going back, but he’s a good option regardless.
Likely to blank in 34 though.
Bernd Leno (£4.38M, Fulham GKP, B/E -4)
Probably the standout cheap option to bring in as Raya cover.
Burnley at home is ideal.
Next best is Aaron Ramsdale from Newcastle as he’s taken over Pope as the preferred number 1.

Bit of a sneaky option as they play both blank gameweeks.
Surely Tottenham turn things around, surely, right?
Malick Thiaw (£8.22M, Newcastle United DEF, B/E 0)
The best Toon defender to bring in for baseline stats, guaranteed starts, and goal threat.
Dan Burn is another option if you’re tight on funds and need a cheap option.
Daniel Ballard (£7.93M, Sunderland DEF, B/E 0)
Already got a win in the derby this season, and they won’t fear going to St James’ Park despite their recent form slump.
Fixtures are good for the run home.
Keep an eye on reports about potential injury.

The best trade in option in my book, and he’s had a run under his belt returning from injury, and plays Burnley at home.
Expensive, but he’s your captain this week and also plays GW34.
Anton Stach from Leeds is another good reliable option at a similar price.
Igor Thiago (£9.70M, Brentford FWD, B/E 10)
Epic season continues.
On penalties, the fixtures are right, and he plays nearly every minute.
Easy trade in.

Surprisingly missed last weekend with a mystery injury and Moyes has been very tight lipped, but I expect the skipper to back.
He generally scores well, and all the remaining difficult fixtures are at home.
However, check the team sheet in case he leaves you short.
David Raya (£7.19M, Arsenal GKP, B/E -5)
Selling the keeper from the best defence with a negative breakeven doesn’t sound the best idea.
The smarter play might be playing your backup keeper if you can.
Marcos Senesi (£9.16M, Bournemouth DEF, B/E 2)
I know he’s a base line stats machine, but Man United, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Man City on the run home lean me to avoiding him as an option.

I don’t know what to make of this City’s form slump, basically gifting Arsenal the league.
I think you should keep some of them for their run home, and this guy’s form is better than his teammates.
Matty Cash (£7.00M, Aston Villa DEF, B/E 18)
Reports suggest he could be back for West Ham this weekend.
Check the teams before you decide to sell as he could be a great hold.
Erling Haaland (£9.70M, Manchester City FWD, B/E 23)
I think I’m leaning to keeping him because of what’s he’s capable of and they might double in GW33 (captaincy).
He is still the highest scoring player this season, but his form and breakeven suggest he’s an obvious sell.

If you followed me in with this guy it’s time to cash in.
Jurriën Timber (£11.40M, Arsenal DEF, B/E 10)
Arteta has come out and said “matter of days” for his return from an ankle injury.
We’ve heard this before from him and I’m sceptical.
Leaning to trading, but I could also hold as I have three playing at the back already and there’s about 3 weeks before their next Premier League match.

He just hasn’t been him this season.
One goal in his last seven appearances across all competitions, and that should have been saved.
I would prefer to hold Eze or Rice for the run home.
Plus, if the league is wrapped up will they play him every week, probably not.
