Melbourne broke one of the longest premiership droughts in the AFL last year and their playing group will have their eyes firmly set on going back-to-back in 2022.
At this stage there’s nothing to suggest that they won’t be there when the whips are cracking in September, with gun players across every line and they’ll also benefit from being able to play all of their home games in Melbourne this year in front of their faithful fans.
From a list management point of view the Dees have lost journeymen Nathan Jones and Neville Jetta to retirement, along with a clean out of fringe players at the end of the 2021 campaign.
