Just as it seemed like the Brisbane Lions’ premiership window was closing, they went out and had a 10/10 trade period, while also excelling to the highest grade in the draft. It has now put them in a position where I genuinely think they have the best list in the competition; although it is becoming clearer that the window for a flag is slowly closing, with these new signings buying them just a fraction of extra time.
