So here we are again, identifying the key Supercoach 2025 pre-season players to watch based on value points.
It’s time to dive into the first part of that conundrum; who is starting the season under and overpriced?
While most of these may not make the first team in round 1, they are definitely ones to be on the lookout for if and when they get named throughout the season.
All the players below are the ones that played at least 1 game during the 2024 season, so no players like Coen Hess who was injured during the pre-season.

Unless there is a flyer out of nowhere or an injury, keep these in mind for later through the season.

Tino heads this list, 2 games of 59 and 36 minutes before being ruled out for the season, even though he is priced higher than his average from 2024, Tino still starts with a $260,000 discount on his starting value from last season.
Flegler will be one to look out for mid-season while he recovers from a shoulder injury.
Corey Horsburgh is a huge watch to see where he starts either on the field or from the bench, but hugely undervalued to start season 2025.

Clifford is available at a great discount of $68,000 having only played 6 games, if you need a non-elite tier halfback he is well worth a shout.
Humphries could be a flyer if he can nail down a starting spot at the Bunnies, keep a close eye on him through the trials.
Ilias will be a pass for me, even though he’ll likely be one of cheapest halfbacks from round 1, he just doesn’t show the value or scoring potential needed for a Supercoach round 1 team.

Metcalf is my pick of this bunch, undervalued and has scoring potential, averaging 65 before his injury in round 4, $200,000 discount, yes please.
Doueihi is still yet to reach the heights before his ACL injury in 2023, until we see more from him and the Tigers; he is a pass

Iongi is the only fullback here that is likely to secure a starting spot, it just comes down to the debate of how to we use the FLEX? Use the flex to have 2 gun fullbacks with a rookie OR go all out and get in 3 guns?
Chester is unfortunately out for the foreseeable future with an ACL.
All the others not mentioned are an injury or suspension away from coming into teams. Keep an eye out for team lists as there are always unexpected players named to start the season
