Supercoach and EPL expert Niko, reveals who to watch, buy, hold and sell ahead of Supercoach EPL Round 16
EPLAnother triple-figure score of 136 sees my Lovski FC up and about and into rank 320.
The masterstroke being a 3am trade with one eye open of Munoz to Guehi.
I thought this might be a one-week sugar hit, but news has come out about Munoz needing surgery and missing a month of football.
Now I look like a genius when all I wanted was to avoid a donut.
With the good came the bad, with not nailing the captain pick, or rather not having a later playing loop option to VC Haaland.
Watching Bruno Fernandes go huge against Wolves really hurt.
Well done to those who landed 68 points on him alone!
I’m not sure I’m trading as my tally is getting low, but I’m fluid, so let’s see who the best trade options are for this week.

Seems to have turned a corner with a goal and an assist in the win over Brentford.
I’m not completely sold as Brentford’s away form has been putrid, but I see the appeal at the low price and breakeven.
Marc Guéhi (£11.38M, Crystal Palace DEF, B/E -9)
Can’t say that I’m not a happy new owner, but he is finding a way to points at the moment and overachieving on his stats.
It’s almost like anything he touches turns to gold at this point.
Not sure I’d buy into City, but easy switch from Munoz.

Should have scored in the win against Arsenal and has West Ham next.
A good POD option.
Martin Ødegaard (£4.92M, Arsenal MID, B/E -1)
The Arsenal skipper at this price looks too good to be true.
Has returned to full minutes and had a little rest in the Champions League mid-week.
If he’s starting against Wolves, I think I’ll buy as he’ll take pens if Saka has been subbed.
He has sometimes even taken them off him.
Matty Cash (£10.96M, Aston Villa DEF, B/E 2)
Scored a goal against Arsenal when Eze fell asleep marking him.
Now he has West Ham, and he’s an easy switch from Munoz.

Took a penalty in the Champions League when Isak was off the pitch and has a brilliant record with them (20 scored from 21, club and country).
If he has them permanently, and with Liverpool’s fixtures, he becomes very interesting.
Has clearly been their best player this season.
Antoine Semenyo (£6.76M, Bournemouth FWD, B/E 4)
He’s been very unlucky to not score points lately, and it’s almost all down to Evanilson, either missing sitters or obstructing his goals.
With no AFCON, he will be a buy again at some point if not now.
Joško Gvardiol (£8.46M, Manchester City DEF, B/E 4)
He looks the main threat at set pieces at the moment, and City are starting to click.
Even beat Real Madrid away mid-week.
Pep doesn’t seem to be rouletting at the moment either.

Raúl Jiménez (£5.86M, Fulham FWD, B/E 6)
Burnley away, Forest home, West Ham away.
They are some tasty fixtures in the next three.
Bukayo Saka (£9.72M, Arsenal FWD, B/E 12)
I doubt he’ll play the full 90 minutes, but Wolves at home looks too good to ignore, especially as a Captain option.
Jurriën Timber (£7.35M, Arsenal DEF, B/E 16)
I think this guy is almost the standout buy this week.
Nailed starter and Wolves at home provides a brilliant opportunity to see his attacking threat on full display.
Embed from Getty ImagesHugo Ekitike (£4.74M, Liverpool FWD, B/E -10)
Cheap, yes, but I’m just not convinced he’s definitely starting alongside Isak.
Injuries and omissions help his cause, as does his form when he does play.
I’m still watching.
Rayan Cherki (£7.12M, Manchester City MID, B/E -2)
Seems to be job sharing with Reijnders, so a no-go for mine, despite the brilliant show of skill and talent last match.
Bruno Guimarães (£9.88M, Newcastle MID, B/E -1)
Dominating at St. James’ Park but struggling a little away from home.
I’m not buying this week in the derby against Sunderland, as I see red cards in this one.
Embed from Getty ImagesJarrod Bowen (£6.76M, West Ham MID, B/E 0)
I wish I didn’t have to sell him a few weeks back.
He’s just very good and has been unlucky to not score more points.
Still watching on, but he does play every minute of every match, and that’s valuable over Christmas/New Year.
Bryan Mbeumo (£8.60M, Manchester United, B/E 3)
Holding for one more week before he jets off to AFCON.
Matheus Cunha (£6.10M, Manchester United FWD, B/E 4)
When the AFCON players leave, he will be the main attacking force along with Bruno F.
Maybe Mount too, but I think I’m happy with only one Man United player for now.
Embed from Getty ImagesRiccardo Calafiori (£7.95M, Arsenal DEF, B/E 6)
Highly annoying, he’s suspended for Wolves at home, which is a banker clean sheet, but this is why we have emergencies and formation changes.
Hold.
Enzo Fernández (£8.55M, Chelsea MID, B/E 16)
I’m not sure what to do with this bloke.
It might be a case of holding and putting him as an emergency to see what he scores, but if Palmer starts, I might just sell.
Cole Palmer (£8.16M, Chelsea MID, B/E 17)
508 trade-ins this week, which I find utterly absurd.
I’m not convinced that he’s even fit.
Igor Thiago (£11.56M, Brentford FWD, B/E 27)
Hold for Leeds at home, points over cash.
Embed from Getty ImagesHarvey Barnes (£10.17M, Newcastle MID, B/E 20)
Gordon is back and in form.
Easy trade out, and owners are lucky he’s kept his value by not subbing on for 10 mins.
Jean-Philippe Mateta (£8.89M, Crystal Palace FWD, B/E 18)
Frustrating lately for owners, but he is on penalties, and Leeds, Tottenham, and Fulham follow the City match.
Not a must sell, but an easy move to someone like Saka this week.
Cody Gakpo (£8.43M, Liverpool FWD, B/E 17)
Injured and not expected back for a few weeks.
Unless you have ample cover, he’s a sell.
Embed from Getty ImagesWilliam Saliba (£6.64M, Arsenal DEF, B/E 14)
We were told “days”, and it’s now been weeks.
If he’s still out, I might have had enough.
Mohamed Salah (£7.39M, Liverpool FWD, B/E 13)
The King is dead.
Daniel Muñoz (£13.38M, Crystal Palace DEF, B/E 13)
Disaster for owners, especially the brand-new ones.
Easy trade-out as not expected back until mid-January.
At least his price is high as he was not injured mid-match, and he’s not been arrested…
Embed from Getty ImagesJoão Pedro (£6.06M, Chelsea FWD, B/E 10)
Scored in the Champions League, but he’s too frustrating to own.
Three of the next four are at home, but they are all against tough opposition.
OUT: Nil
IN: Nil
Bank: £3.33M
Trades: 19 and 2 boosts
VC: Declan Rice (any Arsenal player really)
