Supercoach BBL Final Word: Round 8 captains, PODs, weather watch

Rain, rain, go away, come again on a non-BBL Supercoach day… We’ve had a pretty good run of luck with the weather this season, but it came crashing down in round 7 with the Sixers and Hurricanes game abandoned after five overs. Generally this wouldn’t be too diabolical, but with the Canes’ on the double and the Sixers coming off a double (with another to come), Supercoaches were heavily invested in both teams. Worse yet, it was the final game of the round and the early forecast wasn’t too concerning so it really was a recipe for disaster. Round 8 looks even worse, so stay on your toes and be prepared to tweak your squad
