Six Again | NRL Supercoach Round 26, everything you need to know

From injury news to most traded and captaincy options, here's everything you need to know ahead of NRL Supercoach round 26

NRL

Round 25 marked a return to high-scoring form for many, but not all.

It really was a weird week of footy, with massive upset wins for the Broncos, Sea Eagles, and Tigers!?

Yes, the West Tigers beat the Sydney Roosters. Sam Walker somehow still managed 135 points, though…

All this talk about Nicho x Cleary, yet it is Sammy boy who has a 5-round average of 109.2, the highest in Supercoach.

Shoutout to anyone like me who owned him for the first 5 weeks of the season for a high score of 54. And of course, don’t own him now.

There are just TWO weeks left of the NRL Supercoach season, which means H2H finals time for many.

For those still with trades, it is time to have fun (especially if your rank is already in the bin and you are out of H2H finals).

It’s time to pick your POD-flyers, your favourite players from your favourite teams, a winger you feel like is in store for a hat-trick.

For those still with ranks and H2H finals to worry about, well, these trades become all the more important…

NRL ROUND 26 PREVIEW

Round 26 will kick off at 7:50pm AEST, Thursday, the 27th of August, with a dead-rubber Grand Final rematch between the Broncos and Storm. Who saw that coming at the start of the season?

Both the top 4 and top 8 race are still very much alive, so expect many teams to be out to prove a point.

From a Supercoach perspective, there are plenty of enticing matchups on paper, with the Souths vs Titans and Cowboys vs Tigers probably being the best of the bunch.

This week it is the Raiders who get the bye.

Zac Hosking (CBR): Suffered a hamstring injury and will miss the rest of the season.

James Tedesco (SYD): Missed again last week with that ankle injury that is now believed to be worse; I am not even going to try predicting if he plays this week.

Tolutau Koula (MNL): Suffered a nasty ankle injury and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (NZL): Suffered a collarbone injury that will rule him out for the rest of the regular season and likely finals.
