Oscar Henderson
Sport fanatic and Supercoach expert
From major talking points to injury news, fixtures, breakevens, and the most traded players, here's everything you need to know ahead of EPL Supercoach Gameweek 7
EPLThe Premier League was back in full swing over the weekend, with plenty of action, excitement, and controversy that did not disappoint.
From a Supercoach perspective, it was another mixed bag for popular players, as it usually is.
On the trading front, this week it is a classic decision between points and cash generation, with some red-hot cheapies and premiums to select from.

Another convincing week from Brighton
Yes, we have talked about Brighton a lot, but for good reason.
Brighton consolidated their spot in the top four over the weekend, with another convincing victory, despite playing down a man for most of the second half.
De Cuyper was on the scoresheet again, and with Brighton securing the clean sheet, it was another massive haul for him.
With injured players nearing return and the Conference League kicking off, it will be interesting to see how nailed on De Cuyper’s minutes are.
Groß also picked up another assist to maintain his spot atop as the top Supercoach point scorer so far this season.
With a tough month of fixtures ahead, we are set to find out a whole lot more about this team. But right now, they’re a team I would not want to bet against.
Chelsea’s Front Three really are that good
This is another point I seem to repeat each week, so I will keep it short.
Chelsea’s front three put on another electric display in a 5-goal outing for the Blues.
Rogers, Pedro, and Palmer all contributed to goals and all returned a double-digit Supercoach haul.
I think it may have reached a point now where owning 2/3 of these guys is the way to go.

I will keep this one short, because it is more reconsolidation of prior knowledge rather than learning something new.
Both Manchester sides were lucky enough to play a decent chunk of time 11 vs 10 on the weekend, due to red cards.
In that time period, City rolled a depleted Liverpool side 3-0, whereas United conceded a goal to Spurs to surrender their lead and settle for one point.
There is only one Manchester side I would want to be owning Supercoach assets from right now, and it is the one that wears sky blue and has some extremely dodgy accountants.
It was Hull, now Coventry, who’s next?
Hull City started the season as THE fixture to target.
They then came out of the blocks firing, with two wins, two draws, and three clean sheets in their first 4 games.
The attention then turned to Coventry City as THE fixture to target.
Four losses in their first four games, zero goals scored, 10 goals conceded.
In the two games since then, they have recorded back-to-back wins with an aggregate score of 5-1.
This unpredictability and competitiveness are what we love about the Premier League.
Is this trend going to continue all season? And is it going to affect how heavily we weigh targeting certain fixtures in our trade plans?

As always with these things, the information given to the public is not always perfect and can sometimes change quickly.
William Saliba (ARS): Is back on the grass returning from a back injury, still a matter of weeks, but his return is reportedly nearing.
Jannik Schuster (BRE): Subbed off at half-time vs Villa with a minor ankle injury, expected to be only short-term and could return this week.
Kevin Schade (BRE): Was subbed off early with an apparent shoulder injury, still awaiting news around the severity of the injury.
Jack Hinshelwood (BRI): Has returned to training and is expected to be back in the squad in the coming weeks, but likely to have his minutes managed.
Isak, Gakpo, and Szoboszlai (LIV): Not much official news of any of their injuries, but similar reports suggest they are not training but also not too far away, being monitored day by day.
Kobbie Mainoo and Luke Shaw (MUT): Both picked up knocks and missed their mid-week UCL game, awaiting further news, but both appear to be short-term.

Manchester City at home to Ipswich Town looks like the fixture to target for the week, especially with how City have been playing.
Brighton at home to Palace and Arsenal visiting Nottingham Forest are another two enticing fixtures to target.
Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.
When looking at who to trade in, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they are likely to rise in price.
Similarly, if you have players with high breakevens in your team, it could be time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn’t lose too much value.
