NRL
Analysing the NRL Supercoach ownership of players across the top teams heading into the last week of Supercoach.
To make life easier when identifying true ownership of NRL Supercoach players, each week we’ll break it down into ranking brackets.
Whether you’re chasing ranks, or playing it safe up top, it’ll help identify the best ways to try and achieve your Supercoach goals.
The tables below sets out the proportion of Supercoach teams in the top 1%, top 5%, top 10% and overall that own each player.
This season, there are over 150,000 Supercoach teams, so top 1% would be roughly the top 1500 teams, top 5% is the top 7,500 teams and top 10% is top 15,000 teams.

Let’s take a look at the ownership of players heading into Round 5.
Isaiah Iongi is still the most owned fullback among the top teams, however he is the 4th most traded out player heading into Round 5 following a low score of 35.
He does have the Dragons this weekend who are 3rd for points conceded to fullbacks averaging 73 per game. He then has the Raiders in Darwin followed by the Tigers, again, at CommBank.
Tom Trbojevic has plummeted in ownership following yet another injury on the weekend. Ryan Papenhuyzen and Kalyn Ponga are among the top fullback replacements.
Papi’s draw opens up after Manly this weekend as the Storm play the Warriors, Dolphins, Rabbitohs, Raiders and Tigers.
KP comes off the bye against the Bulldogs followed by two home Sunday afternoon games vs Tigers and Sharks.
Latrell Mitchell has entered the top 10 and is the 6th most traded in player as he is expected to return for the Rabbitohs this weekend… but at what position?
Thomas Jenkins has skyrocketed in ownership with 24,000 Supercoaches trading him in following his scores of 91 and 69 at fullback and centre respectively.
The big question mark for Jenkins is his job security.
However with Brian To’o out until Round 9, and Daine Laurie and Dylan Edwards 50/50 for this week’s match vs Cowboys, he be a great short-term buy for cash gen with a -94 breakeven and $113k projected price rise.
Jesse Arthars missed out on a try for the first time this season – in the pouring rain mind you – and owners are cashing out on his price rise.
I totally understand that, but his breakeven is still 56 and he has got the Tigers and Roosters at Suncorp in the next 2 weeks. There is still points to be had!
The rollercoaster that has been owning Luke Metcalf may have finally ended with the Warriors #7 being the 3rd most traded out player mostly due to the fact he is on the bye this week.
Jayden Campbell has been the most popular replacement for Metcalf. He is averaging 75 in his first 3 games and has the Dolphins, Dragons and Raiders next to play.
Not too much to talk about for halfbacks.
Nathan Cleary is amongst the top 5 most traded in players for Supercoaches ranked in the top 1%.
This week he has got the Cowboys, who are giving up the most Supercoach points to right halves in the comp.
Jacob Preston has increased in ownership following his 122 against the Sharks last week.
His two highest scores have been aided by assists and tries, whilst the other two games he has scored 49 and 47 against the Dragons and Eels respectively.
Tino Fa’asuamaleaui is the 7th most traded-in player after a score of 77 against the Roosters.
He is averaging 82 per game and is priced at under $600k for the last time as he is expected to rise $14.8k barring any injuries.
Payne Haas and Terrell May continue to cement themselves as the must-have FRF pairing as they both scored 82 and 92 respectively this week.
Addin Fonua-Blake sparked some interest with 65 points scored in base stats last week vs Bulldogs.
However, he did play 71 minutes which is well over his 51 minute average.
Tom Starling is the 8th most traded out player among Supercoaches in the top 1%.
He has been a great cash gen player rising $145k since the start of the season, and is still expected to rise over $500k this week against the Sharks with a 53 breakeven.
Maybe give him one more week to peak.
