NRLAnalysing the NRL Supercoach ownership of players across the top teams heading into the last week of Supercoach.
To make life easier when identifying true ownership of NRL Supercoach players, each week we’ll break it down into ranking brackets.
Whether you’re chasing ranks, or playing it safe up top, it’ll help identify the best ways to try and achieve your Supercoach goals.
The tables below sets out the proportion of Supercoach teams in the top 1%, top 5%, top 10% and overall that own each player.
This season, there are over 150,000 Supercoach teams, so top 1% would be roughly the top 1500 teams, top 5% is the top 7,500 teams and top 10% is top 15,000 teams.

Let’s take a look at the ownership of players heading into Round 8.
Scott Drinkwater has gained popularity coming off the bye and has 4 home games in his next 5 matches.
Drinky has scored 70+ points in each of the last 3 Cowboys games and has the Titans, Warriors and Panthers next up.
Reece Walsh is the 2nd most traded out player this week after he was ruled out for 4-6 weeks with a knee injury.
Plenty of movement in CTWs this week with Greg Marzhew shooting up to the 3rd most owned CTW among the top 1% of Supercoaches.
It has been an up-and-down season for Marzhew who started with a pair of 80s when the Knights were hot, he then averaged 46 points in the following 3 games before going off with 138 points last week vs Sharks with 42 points in tackle breaks alone (a Supercoach record for that stat).
Billy Smith is back from suspension and is the most traded-in player this week with nearly 27,000 Supercoaches bringing him in.
He has a breakeven of -56 this week, and with scores of 76 and 79 already this season, he is going to make you plenty of cash.
Plus, his job security looks strong with Mark Nawaqanitawase moved to right wing at the expense of Dom Young.
Proven Supercoach guns, Jacob Kiraz and Herbie Farnworth have also increased in popularity.
Dolphins are looking hot with 30+ scores against last year’s Grand Finalists in consecutive weeks; Herbie scored 78 and 98 in each game respectively.
Whilst those who backed Kiraz were rewarded with 84 points. He may not have scored a try but he had an assist and 28 points combined in tackle breaks and offloads.
Jayden Campbell blindsided us all with a syndesmosis injury making all owners drop to their knees at their respective Easter lunches.
Where to now? Cam Munster and Matt Burton have been the most popular trades for JC this week.
Munster has the Rabbitohs, Raiders and Tigers to come which are all favourable match-ups, however Origin will impact him in the major bye period.
Burton, on the other hand, looks like a more long term option with the Origin halves seemingly a 3-horse race (Cleary, Moses, Luai).
Burton returned from injury with 65 points against the Rabbitohs without any try or line break involvements.
The Dogs are flying at the moment and have the 6th best attack in the league (half of those games played with their main playmaker).
Nathan Cleary‘s inevitable ton finally came for owners scoring 116 points.
The big question is if this is Penrith’s Ashley & Martin turning point (not an ad) – as an owner of Cleary (and Yeo), I really hope it is.
Panthers have Manly, Broncos and Cowboys to come – all teams Cleary has scored a ton, or two, against in his past 3 meetings.
Buy now, he won’t be priced this low again.
There needs to be a study about 2RFs named Dylan this season!
Dylan Egan was the most popular 2RF trade in last week, this week it is Dylan Lucas that has soared in popularity upon his return from injury.
For those who have forgotten how good the Knights were at the start of the year, Lucas scored 75 and 97 in first 2 games before his injury.
He is the 2nd most-traded in player this week with most Supercoaches trading out Lachlan Hubner or Jesse Arthars.
There has been much need to make any changes to FRFs this week, however the most traded-in player is Toby Couchman.
He has been flying under the radar with scores of 74, 82 and 91 in his last 3 games.
He won’t make you a motser – with a breakeven of 20 and expected price rise of $43k – but he is a solid option off the bench at $616k.
Jayden Campbell was one heartbreak, Harry Grant was an even tougher pill to swallow on my Easter long weekend.
Just when I thought I didn’t need to use a trade down he goes with a hamstring injury in training… great!
Connor Watson seems to have come to the rescue for Supercoaches with his stocks rising off the back of the news.
Origin is, of course, a concern, but with only one score below 55 this season and 86 in a side well and truly beaten last week, he is a great replacement.
