The Random Stats Guy analyses the player ownership of the top ranked NFL Supercoach teams ahead of Week 7
NFLAnalysing the NFL Supercoach ownership of players across the top teams heading into Week 7.
To make life easier when identifying true ownership of NFL Supercoach players, each week we’ll break it down into ranking brackets.
Whether you’re chasing ranks, or playing it safe up top, it’ll help identify the best ways to try and achieve your Supercoach goals.
The tables below set out the proportion of Supercoach teams in the top 1%, top 10% and overall that own each player.
This season, there are over 32,000 Supercoach teams, so the top 1% would be roughly the top 320 teams, and top 10% is made up of the top 3,200 teams.
Let’s take a look at the ownership of players heading into Week 7.
The Bills are on the bye this week, which means the most owned Quarterback in Supercoach, Josh Allen, is unavailable.
As a result, he is the 3rd most traded out player with 1,288 moving him on – however, the majority of owners are holding firm.
Holding Josh Allen is a no-brainer. He is ranked 2nd in points scored this season, averaging 45 points – so he shouldn’t be on the cutting board.
However, many have been tempted on the player ranked 1st in points scored this season – Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes’ popularity has increased over the last few weeks, growing from 2,560 to 7,798.
Most of his points have come from passing yards, scoring 20+ points for the stat in 4/6 games this season.
He has also added to those points with 6 passing TDs and 2 rushing TDs in his last 3 appearances.
This weekend, he comes up against the Raiders, who rank 5th for points conceded against QBs, and are 5th for rushing TDs conceded.

Bijan Robinson cemented his spot as the most owned running back in Supercoach for the top 1% of teams, with an outrageous 170 rush yards, 68 receiving yards, and a rushing TD against the Bills last week.
This week, though, owners have a fire to put out with Omarion Hampton confirmed to miss at least 4 games for the Chargers, after suffering a left ankle injury in Week 5.
Owned by 77.0% of the top 1% teams pre-injury, he is the 3rd most traded out player with most either upgrading, downgrading or trading in a similar-priced RB.
The upgrade option is Jonathan Taylor, who is a whopping $14 mil more than Hampton.
Crazy as it seems, it is actually the most popular trade and fair enough as Taylor is the 3rd highest scoring player in all of Supercoach averaging 44.5.
The similarly priced option is Cam Skattebo, who has an appealing breakeven at -10.
He exploded last week with a season-high 59 points against the Eagles, and has managed 20+ points in his last 5 games.
The downgrade option is Hampton’s replacement, Kimani Vidal.
Vidal scored 41 as RB1 last week against the Dolphins, with 124 rush yards from 18 attempts; however, the Dolphins are 1st for rushing yards conceded to RBs this season.
Colts and Vikings are next, and sit mid-table in rushing defence, PLUS the Chargers are 3rd for passing completions so they aren’t a rushing-reliant side this season.
Don’t expect similar numbers.

Double blow this week for the 1st and 3rd most owned wide receivers, Emeka Egbuka and Puka Nacua.
A hamstring injury will see Egbuka out for at least 2 weeks, whilst Nacua hasn’t practised this week with a foot injury, and won’t play Week 8 with a bye.
As a result, three wide-receiver options have appeared.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the most traded-in player this week, growing in popularity among the top 1% by 20%.
The Seahawks’ passing offence has been great, ranking 4th for passing yards thrown – with Smith-Njigba ranking 1st for receiving yards this season.
Drake London is the 3rd most traded-in player, and has been sharply rising in Supercoach form.
He scored 42 against the Commanders and backed it up with 53 last week against the Bills, having more targets than any other player in Week 6 with 16.
The riskier option is Ja’Marr Chase, who is surprisingly more popular than London.
To be fair, Chase looked good with Joe Flacco at QB, getting 12 targets, 10 receptions, 94 rec yards and a TD in last week’s loss to the Packers.
Scores of 52 and 40 in his last 2 outings are positive; however, there are scars with 12, 9 and 7 amongst his other scores.

Not too much to report from the tight end side.
Tyler Warren remains the most owned player for the top 1% of teams, following his second 30+ score in 3 games.
Trey McBride has had a bit of attention from the top 1%, following 34 points against the Colts last week.
Most owners have jumped from the injured Brock Bowers to the Cardinals’ TE, who is the 4th highest scoring in the position this season.

The most owned kicker, Tyler Loop, is on the bye this week and is the 8th for traded-out player.
Only 522 of his 17,000+ owners have traded him out however, with most not looking to burn a trade on a kicker.
Eddy Pineiro is a possible upgrade option – if you’re desperate – after scoring 34 and 36 in his last 2 games for San Fran.

Another position that not many Supercoaches are willing to burn trades in.
Denver and San Fran have crept up in popularity among the top 1%.
The Broncos, in particular, have been impressive, having not conceded a touchdown in 2 of their last 3 matches.
