Everything from breakevens to most traded, injuries to captaincy decisions, this is your one stop article ahead of AFL Supercoach round 9
AFLIn case you didn’t get to catch much footy in round 8, here is my rapid recap of the last week of footy:
A rare draw to start the week between the Pies and Hawks. The rollercoaster of Houston (135) hit another high while Naicos (103) and Newcombe (105) were solid without going huge.
Luke Jackson (143) continues his stellar form, as Bolton (134) also went big again. Dale (141) has hit his straps again, while the Bont (118) also looks to have bottomed out.
A game for the ages from Berry (171), 29 touches and a ridiculous 19 tackles. Butters (117) continues to pump out solid scores. Milera (122) continues to show why he may be a genuine POD option.
It was Wilmot (144) and Bailey (122) who led Brisbane this week, with Zorko (108) also solid on return. Roberts (100) and Merrett (98) with decent floor scores.
Embed from Getty ImagesBalta (152) and Ross (129) were the leaders for Richmond in a big win over the Eagles. Kelly (121) the best for them.
Xerri (165) with another big performance, returning to his best. Holmes (149) was immense for the Cats.
Carlton lost again, this time to the Saints in an underwhelming game for relevant Supercoach options. NAS (99), Sinclair (93), Walsh (71), and Flanders (69) all failed to impress.
Grundy (130) continues to punch out the scores while Gawn (104) continues his Supercoach struggles in this new hybrid role. Heeney (129) and Pickett (113) stood up as expected.
Petracca (136) continues to mount his case as F1. Whitfield (117), Oliver (113), and Callaghan (110) all scored solidly despite the defeat.

Round 9 will kick off at 8:10pm AEST, Thursday, the 7th of May, with a blockbuster clash between the Dockers and Hawks out in the West.
From a Supercoach perspective, there are a few games to target this week, namely, GWS vs Essendon and Melbourne vs West Coast.
Each week, we will list players whose injury statuses have changed in the week prior.
Keep your eyes out for Team Lists, where we will find out a lot more about most of these injuries.

Embed from Getty ImagesBreakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.
Price changes will occur after players have played three games, as they are based on a player’s 3-week average.
Generally speaking, when looking at who to trade in, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they will help make your team money.
Similarly, if you have some players with high breakevens in your team, maybe it’s time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn’t lose too much value.
