NRL Supercoach 2026 | Player Ownership Stats, Round 14

The Random Stats Guy analyses the player ownership of the top 1% of NRL Supercoach teams in Round 14

NRL

Hallelujah, an 8-game round this week!

However, if only it were that simple. Instead, Supercoaches have been dealt with injuries to Alex Twal and Blayke Brailey.

On top of that, Nicho Hynes is set to miss another 3 weeks and Jacob Kiraz is in doubt for the last game of the round.

On top of all that, the fullback debate wages on as Walsh flopped against a team that hadn’t won since last August, Tedesco only managed 48, Ponga just cracked 50 against the Eels, and Fa’alogo bounced back with 92 points with no tries!

Ah, the joys of Supercoach!

Here is how the top 1% of Supercoaches have responded to Round 14…

A late flurry of points for Reece Walsh spared him from being a total trainwreck against the Dragons last week.

The real winners from his 73 points were those who waited a round to bring him in as he now sits at $552k, and is a downgrade from Sua Fa’alogo.

In saying that, Fa’alogo is still the most owned fullback for the top 1%, and his score of 92 in a low-scoring game vs Roosters, does make him a hard trade-out option.

However, he misses the next two major bye rounds; whilst Walsh will be available for both Round 15 and 18.

Jacob Kiraz made it back-to-back tons in Round 13, and sits 2nd as the most traded-in player overall in Supercoach this week

However, he does come into Round 14 with an injury cloud, which will annoy owners as the Bulldogs play the last game of the round, on a Monday too…

For those looking not to risk it on Kiraz, the top 1% have the Dolphins’ right edge duo of Jack Bostock and Jamayne Isaako in sight.

The Dolphins have the dream bye coverage, playing every round from this week to Round 19 – and better yet, they’re in form and scoring points.

On the trading block for these players are the Cowboys’ centre duo of Jaxon Purdue and Tom Chester.

Purdue has been out of form for a while now, scoring sub-50 in 6 of his last 7 matches.

Chester seems like a hold, especially for those low on trades. Sure, he misses both major bye rounds, however, he is averaging 69 this season and only had two games under 50 points.

Not many trades have been made in the 5/8 position.

Te Maire Martin has only gained more owners in the top 1%, despite sitting this week out with a bye.

Braydon Trindall laid on 3 tries and scored one himself in a 118-point performance without his right-hand man Nicho Hynes.

It is his 3rd score over 60 points in the last 4 games; however, Supercoaches aren’t taking a bite of the apple.

Nicho Hynes is facing 2-3 more weeks on the sideline for the Sharks; which has seen him sit 5th on the most traded-out list ahead of Round 14.

Most owners have banked some cash in the bank and brought in cheapie Latrell Siegwalt, who is a HFB|FLB dual.

Siegwalt has scores of 92 and 60 so far this season at left centre, and is projected to jump $100k in price with a -84 breakeven vs Manly.

Others have moved to a proven Supercoach gun in Jayden Campbell, who is currently $617k.

With one score under 50 in a struggling Titans side, JC is a playing option for the next 4 weeks before the last major bye round.

The ironman of rugby league has now been broken.

Jayden Brailey hadn’t missed an NRL game since 2020 coming into Magic Round, and now will sit out the next month with a broken arm.

Most have used the cash to bring in Terrell May.

Whilst Harry Grant is an obvious like-for-like replacement at hooker, and is the 2nd most common trade for the injured Brailey.

Bad news for one of the most popular players in Supercoach, with Alex Twal ruled out for 4-6 weeks with a MCL injury.

It means that last season’s top-scoring FRF is the most traded-in player this week, with over 24,000 Supercoaches jumping to Terrell May.

His scoring has been impressive in 2026, in fact, he is averaging more than Alex Twal at 85.8 points per game.

Outside of May, Payne Haas has been the next popular FRF replacement – which doesn’t make too much sense with his coverage likely to be interrupted by Origin.

Kai Pearce-Paul is another popular replacement for Twal, for those owners that play him at 2RF.

As mentioned above, with Alex Twal injured for the next month and a bit, Kai Pearce-Paul‘s ownership has risen with the Tigers’ strong run of games.

His last 3 games have been impressive with scores of 83, 80 and 75 – mostly from base + power.

Xavier Willison sits in the top 3 most traded-in players, after scoring 104 points against the Dragons last week.

He has a 5-round average of 77 points, and looks to have locked in that right 2nd row spot with Jordan Riki set to miss at least another month of footy with a foot injury.
