NFL Supercoach expert Eden Richards gives his trade plans, captains, and PODs ahead of NFL Supercoach Week 6
NFLTwo words – Drake Maye.
Seriously, how bloody good is he!?
Alright, I’ll stop, but spoiler alert: you’ll be hearing more about him later in the article.
In the meantime, it’s another tough week of byes, and there are trades to be made.
Here’s what I’m thinking…

This week I’m trimming the fat and using a boost.
It’s time to get rid of some underperforming players who are about to start losing money – beginning with Jeremiyah Love.
Love has peaked in price, and it’s the perfect time to trade him before he starts losing the money that he’s made. He hasn’t made a heap, but it will have to do.
I’ll be trading Love to Marshawn Lloyd, and I believe it’s one of the more popular trades this week.
It just makes sense. Lloyd is no world-beater, but he’s going to make you cash. He’s the only running back in Green Bay, and it looks like he may have finally found some form.
He’s got a BE of -14, and I’ll be happy if we can get a good few weeks of cash generation out of him.

You could argue I’ve missed the boat on Hubbard, but I still think he’s got money to make and he’s scoring like a keeper.
His BE is -4 and at $14.2m, he is still affordable and underpriced. Can you believe he’s got the 6th-highest average out of any RB in Supercoach? He’s having an incredible season and deserves more recognition.
It hurts to trade Brown, but I’m not getting the returns out of him that I wanted. He’s barely averaging over 20, and he’s already lost me $3.9 million. I have to stop the bleeding and get rid of him before his price drops even more.

To put it simply, Burden is not a keeper and has peaked in price. He’s been a bit of a disappointment this season, and Nabers has presented me with the perfect opportunity to trade him.
Nabers looks like the buy of the week. He was targeted 20, yes, 20, times last week. He’s only a tick over $13 million and has a BE of -22, so I expect most coaches to try and get him in.
His target share is immense, and he’s scoring like an elite receiver. Don’t wait – find a way to get him in.

It’s really that easy.
Smith-Njigba has been an absolute stud this season, leading the League in receiving yards and crowning himself as the #1 receiver in Supercoach.
This week he gets a Broncos secondary without Patrick Surtain II, and one that loves playing zone coverage.
This should suit JSN perfectly, and I expect him to go BIG.

I just can’t choose anyone else.
Allen bounced back in a big way last week, scoring 62 points in a shootout against the Rams.
He just has the ability to score points so quickly, and I think he’ll fancy himself against a Las Vegas Raiders side that just conceded 45 points to the Patriots.
Drake Maye threw for four touchdowns and rushed for one in that game, and I expect Allen to put up similar numbers this week.

Speaking of Drake Maye – how good does he look!?
He’s found his confidence over the past two weeks, and it’s correlated with big scores.
His 53 and 78 make him the highest scorer in Supercoach over this time period, and he’ll look to continue to build on that against the Jets this week. Oh, and did I mention, his number one receiver might be back?
Yep, you heard that right. AJ Brown has returned to practice and is a chance of playing this week.
As a Patriots fan, this is huge for the program.
Maye has been throwing to a depleted wide receiver room, and he may finally have his strike weapon back.
Of course, Brown’s no certainty to be back, but it shouldn’t matter as Maye has already shown he can deliver with whatever receivers are at his disposal.
If you want Maye, then you should be buying this week. His BE is -16, and he’s projected to go up a whopping $2.5 million. The Pats are coming good, and Maye could even hit $30 million if he continues on this run of form…

I know this article has turned into a bit of a Patriots love affair, but hear me out…
Rhamondre Stevenson has a huge opportunity and could be a great POD that will make you plenty of money over the next few weeks.
Why you ask? Well, TreVeyon Henderson has just gone down with a high ankle sprain and is expected to miss multiple weeks.
It means Stevenson has no competition in the backfield, and we could genuinely see him be a Top 10 RB over the next few weeks.
Even with Henderson, Stevenson has put up scores in the 30s over the past couple of weeks. Yet, he’s still priced as someone who averages scores in the low 20s.
He’s only going to get more opportunities moving forward, and with a BE of 0, now is the time to bring him in.
He’s a bit of a forgotten player this year but I think coaches who take a punt on him will be rewarded. He’s so important to the Patriots offense and he might just end up being a pretty important part of your team.
