HOOKER
Connor Watson
Brandon Smith’s injury will see Watson play nine at the Roosters where he’s scored well in big minutes in the past.
Attacking stats a plenty, he’s a goer. I owned towards the back end of last year and he disappointed a bit, so he needs to repay faith.
Bench placeholder
Peter Mamouzelos
Mamouzelos is my placeholder for the cheapie hooker option for now, with more news to come on Team list Tuesday.

Terrell May
There looks to be big minutes incoming as he’s the main man at the Tigers. Less attacking stats perhaps, but hopefully they’re cancelled out with the increase in minutes and workload.
Corey Horsburgh
I’ve owned Horsburgh in the past and he has done well for me. He’s fiery and capable of playing big minutes and producing some attacking stats.
Bench placeholders
Royce Hunt – Pending TLT
Cody Hopwood – Pending TLT

Haumole Olakau’atu
Ola has a soft draw early on with Manly and is always a danger for a DCE short ball to crash over for plenty of tries.
Isaiah Papali’i
Provided he’s starting on the edge for the Panthers I‘ll get him in. He’s a gun if playing 80.
Kelma Tuilagi
Tuilagi is firming to play 80 minutes on the edge for the Eels and he has plenty of upside, particularly with Moses back Parra’s attack will be more potent.
Tino Fa’asuamaleaui
The underpriced main man at the Titans. He’ll build up to big minutes over time and will be hungry following a long lay-off with injury. He’s another big man with plenty of attacking upside.
Bench placeholders
Blake Steep – Pending TLT
Jacob Laban – Pending TLT
Josh Schuster – Pending TLT

Nathan Cleary
🐐
Sandon Smith
The new Roosters starting half is at near basement price and he has plenty of talent, along with the goal-kicking duties in the absence of Sam Walker. An excellent money-maker.

Dylan Brown
Brown had somewhat of a down year without Moses last year, however he was still ultra consistent without going large often. With Moses back hopefully there’s less of a focus on him which leads to more attacking stats.
Luke Metcalf
Metcalf is a cheap, goal-kicking half. He’s an aggressive, direct half and loves to run the footy and find a few meat pies. He looks the chief playmaker now which hopefully results in more attacking stats.

Reuben Garrick
Garrick has been my nemesis in Supercoach every year. I’ve never seemed to own him at the right time and when I have he gets injured/HIA’d.
He underwhelms for me or the whole world already owns when going big.
Manly have a soft draw to start the season so I’m hoping this could be the year he delivers for me at the right time.
Greg Marzhew
This is largely to offset going against Kalyn Ponga. We all know what Marzhew can do if the Knights start going left again.
Tyrone Munro
The Rabbitohs had a down year in 2024, so hopefully Bennett coming back can turn things around.
Dez Creek’s tactic of loading my squad with players from a team that underwhelmed last season is in action. Munro is on the end of a backline that will get its mojo back. He’s a super talent with lightning speed.

Robert Toia
Money-making, basement priced CTW, in my side if he gets named.
Jaxon Purdue
Cheap placeholder for now, should make some money.
Jesse McLean
Playing in a red-hot Penrith side and should make money at the price. Hopefully the opportunity comes early on.
Savelio Tamale
Placeholder for now pending early team lists.

Latrell Mitchell
I’m not sure if ever owned Latrell, but he’s looking fit and with a Bunnies outfit with some more stability I think he can go bananas early.
Tom Trbojevic
Say no more, he can be the leading point scorer after six rounds and beyond if he remains fit.
FLEX
Isaiah Iongi
The Parramatta recruit is close to basement price and is starting fullback for my Eels, yes please.
There’ll be plenty of cash incoming and he should score well for his price point.
